Tom Holland knows who bought the Avengers tower in the MCU. Originally called the Stark Tower, Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) eventually renovated his New York home to be the Avengers' HQ on the heels of the team's fight against Loki (Tom Hiddleston) in The Avengers. But after Avengers: Age of Ultron, Earth's Mightiest Heroes relocated upstate, where Tony provided them with a much bigger facility. Since then, not much has been divulged about the Avengers Tower until Spider-Man: Homecoming, where it was revealed that Iron Man had sold the building.

Marvel Studios didn't make a big deal out of the transaction, but it did create a new topic for fans to talk about. Spider-Man: Far From Home further motivated theories regarding who might be the building's new owner. There are rumors that the new Norman Osborne of Oscorp purchased it. Others claimed that it could be the Fantastic Four's new headquarters as the MCU gears up for the arrival of Marvel's first family. More recently, the Hawkeye Disney+ series mentioned it again, leading some to believe that it's Kingpin who bought it.

At this point, Marvel Studios doesn't seem to have any intentions of revealing who the Avengers Tower's new owner is. But while fans are left to wonder who it could be, Holland happily shares that he does know who it is. During a new interview with ComicBook, the actor said this but didn't name drop anyone:

It's interesting that Holland knows about this particular detail since he's known for having loose lips. But while he didn't outright solve the mystery, his and his co-stars' reaction could be an indication of how the new Avengers Tower owner relates to the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home. For starters, Holland had to think for a bit before realizing that he knows the answer to this MCU mystery, hinting that it's not something that factors significantly in the upcoming film. The fact that he has to quietly share the information with Zendaya supports this idea. Zendaya, on her part, quickly gets it, which means that they're somehow aware of what the Avengers Tower's new ownership means for Spider-Man, and MCU's future, in general.

Clearly, Marvel Studios is continuously building this mystery. Since a new Spider-Man trilogy is in the works, the Avengers Tower's new owner could factor in the wall-crawler's next set of movies. Otherwise, it could also be used to kickstart a new narrative involving other characters. But whoever it might be, this effectively ensures that New York will continue to be an important setting in the MCU moving forward.
