In the pages of Marvel Comics, Black Panther and Namor have long had a contentious relationship that has resulted in the nations of Wakanda and Atlantis warring with one another. Everything from politics, stolen tech, and power battles have pitted Black Panther and Namor the Sub-Mariner against one another, as the two Avengers have never seen eye-to-eye. Namor has even flooded Wakanda in the act of war, a storyline that was recently adapted to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, in a new comic, the pair are (temporarily) putting their past behind them and teaming up to take on the Avengers.
Marvel Comics recently revealed that Black Panther and Namor would be fighting alongside one another in the upcoming Black Panther #13 by John Ridley and German Peralta from Marvel Comics. After the King of Wakanda is exiled from his home and booted from the Avengers, he will join forces with Namor the Sub-Mariner. The antihero will come to his longtime rival's side as seemingly everyone else in the Marvel Universe has turned their back on him.
