The second official trailer for Avengers: Infinity War is rumored to drop next week on Good Morning America. All eyes may still be on Black Panther now as it continues to break box office records and garner rave reviews from everyone, but the Ryan Coogler film is just the first out of the three MCU offerings this year with Avengers 3 and Ant-Man And The Wasp coming in the next several months. The ensemble flick, in particular, is just two and a half months away from debuting. Dubbed the culminating narrative of the franchise thus far, the movie will gather all heroes existing in the superhero series as they gear for their big fight against big bad, Thanos.

Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, Infinity War will set the stage for the epic ending of the 22-movie arc narrative that the MCU has been treading since the first Iron Man in 2008. Oddly, despite hype building for the Avengers sequel for quite some time now, official narrative details are still scarce at the moment. However, it's been established that it will mine inspiration from '90s heist films as the heroes race against Thanos to collect all six Infinity Gems.

The rumor comes from Reddit user Rman823 pointing out the Paul Bettany (Vision), Karen Gillan (Nebula) and Sebastian Stan (Bucky Barnes) are all scheduled to drop by Good Morning America next Tuesday, February 27th. It's such an odd combination of people to make an appearance in a talk show and considering that the only film that they are all working a part of Infinity War, it's presumed that they are there to present the newest trailer for the movie, similar to how the first official preview was released last year.

UPDATE: Marvel Studios News has been informed by Walt Disney Studios that the aforementioned Infinity War stars will not premiere a new trailer on GMA next week. However, that doesn't rule out the possibility of them debuting a new clip and/or previously-unreleased footage from the film.

The Guardians of the Galaxy on their ship in Avengers Infinity War

It's a couple of days early from earlier assumptions that another trailer will drop between the first and second week of March, similar to how Marvel Studios usually drop their final trailers for their summer blockbusters. In fact, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 final full promo clip rolled out February 28 last year, so a new Avengers 3 preview arriving on the 27th is certainly a possibility. Additionally, we don't think anyone is complaining about an earlier release, especially after all the long wait fans went through for the first trailer. It's also a probably a good time to remind people who liked Black Panther that most of their favorite characters from that film will be back again on the big screen in just two months for Infinity War.

Should this be the case, what's more interesting here is the selection of people that Marvel is tapping to promote this film as early as now. Back in November, Stan was also on the show to debut the first trailer. Granted that he was also promoting I, Tonya at that time, it seems like Marvel is pushing him at the forefront. Whether that's foreshadowing of his bigger role in the MCU moving forward or not is anybody's guess right now, but the comic books have already laid the ground for him to pick up the Captain America mantle if Steve Rogers dies or Chris Evans no longer wants it. In any case, it's a wonder when Marvel will bring out their big guns like Evans, Chris Hemsworth, and Robert Downey, Jr. to promote the movie.
