One cosplayer brought a mix of Avengers: Infinity War villain Thanos and McDonald's Grimace to life and fans are pretty much losing their minds about it.

After years of build-up, Marvel Studios finally fulfilled their promise of bringing one of Marvel's most iconic heroes on the big screen in this year's Infinity War. Played by Josh Brolin, the arrival of Thanos in the MCU marks the beginning of the end of the long narrative that the franchise has been building on. While many were initially skeptical of his onscreen debut, especially since much of the movie depended on people's reception of him, things turned out well as Marvel Studios was able to craft a layered villain that's more than the power-hungry bad guys that most comic book movies have.

The amazing cosplay comes from Twitter user Kittie Cosplay who is a San Francisco-based cosplayer and artist. Her portfolio includes several interesting takes on the most beloved movie and TV characters, but her latest one is getting a lot of interest lately considering that it mixes Infinity War's Thanos and McDonald's mascot, Grimace. Check out her incredible work below:

Fans dig the concept behind the cosplay, especially since it was something referenced in Infinity War. At one point in the movie, Star-Lord called the Mad Titan Grimace  - an obvious reflection of him being an '80s kid. The audience understood the jab, but since Thanos isn't from Earth, he didn't even flinch at the insult. But if anything, this goes to show how the latest Marvel villain has quickly become a pop culture icon - and considering how the MCU isn't really known for memorable villains, this in itself is a huge win for Kevin Feige and his team.

Of course, fans haven't seen the last of the real Thanos yet. Josh Brolin is set to reprise his iconic villain role in next year's still-untitled Avengers 4 movie as the 22-film arc that the MCU has been treading since 2008 comes to a close. Plot details regarding the movie are being kept tightly under wraps and with two other standalone projects (Ant-Man & The Wasp and Captain Marvel) hitting theaters before Avengers 4, chances are that Marvel Studios will continue to be tightlipped about the blockbuster. Having said that, fans can expect the franchise's principal heroes to take center stage as Iron Man and his original Avenger pals attempt to save the universe from the predicament it's currently in and hopefully also defeat the Mad Titan once and for all.
