Emojis for Avengers: Infinity War's Time Stone, Mind Stone, and Space Stone have been officially released - but they aren't what fans may be expecting.

A few weeks ago, Twitter revealed the official emojis for the Infinity War characters prior to the release of the film's Super Bowl spot. Almost everyone appearing in the film received their own (except for Hawkeye and Ant-Man), but now considering how significant the Infinity Stones are in the upcoming narrative, the social media site has also formally introduced the emojis for three out of the six magical gems.

Discovered by Twitter user Fatine Arji, the emojis for the Time Stone, Mind Stone, and Space Stone correspond to those who possess them prior to the events of Infinity War. The Time Stone/Agamotto is with Doctor Strange, the Mind Stone/Scepter is with Vision and the Space Stone/Tesseract is with Loki. The trailers have revealed that the God of Mischief will eventually hand over the Space Stone to the Mad Titan while both Vision and Doctor Strange have separate run-ins with Black Order members Ebony Maw and Corvus Glaive, respectively. Check it out below:

It's interesting that the emojis don't include the Power Stone/Orb which is the first of the six stones that Thanos gets his hand on. Kept with the Nova Corps, as seen in the first Guardians of the Galaxy, it's still uncertain how the villain got it. Perhaps Thanos and his envoy have just left Xandar before Sanctuary II stumbled on the Asgardian refugee ship by the end of Thor: Ragnarok where he reunites with Loki. Meanwhile, the Reality Stone/Aether is presumably still with The Collector, although a leaked Infinity War scene from last year teased the Mad Titan’s visit to Knowhere while the Guardians silently watched as Taneleer Tivan is interrogated by the villain. Since the red gem isn't in the Infinity Gauntlet yet, perhaps it's being kept somewhere else safe or it was scooped up by Peter Quill and his team.

And finally, the Soul Stone is the last remaining one that fans haven't seen thus far in the MCU and deemed the most dangerous of them all. There are several theories out there as to its whereabouts, but nothing concrete. At this point, it can just be hiding in plain sight. It'll be curious to know if Twitter will reveal any emojis for the remaining three stones before the film's debut given that they could be spoilers for Infinity War.

With less than six weeks left before showtime, fans won't have to wait much longer to find out what goes down in Avengers: Infinity War. Once it's done, the speculations start again for its sequel, Avengers 4, due to arrive in May of next year. Tickets for Infinity War are now on sale and they're going fast. The movie is tracking to become the MCU’s highest grossing film in terms of opening sales thus far, with estimates of $215 million in its first three days. The anticipation for the film is already at an all-time high, and what Marvel needs to do is maintain the hype until the film debuts worldwide.
