Letitia Wright shares her thoughts on Shuri's future relationship with fellow MCU geniuses like Tony Stark and Bruce Banner. Stealing the spotlight in Black Panther, the rising star is set to charm everybody once again when Avengers: Infinity War rolls out this May as she may play a major role in some of the film's tech, weapons, and gadgets, perhaps including Captain America's newest shield.

Buzz on Black Panther is running high right now, and we expect it to last in the next several weeks. But in less than three months, the MCU will debut its culminating movie that will pit every single hero in the franchise against mad Titan, Thanos as he attempts to collect all six Infinity Gems. Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo with a script by Stephen Markus and Christopher McFeely, Infinity War is expected to set the stage for the ultimate end of the 22-movie arc that the franchise has been treading for 10 years now in next year's still-untitled Avengers 4.

Despite her age, the Wakandan princess is confirmed to be the smartest person in the franchise, so it'll be interesting how the bigger world will treat her especially now that the African nation has decided to open its borders to the world. Speaking with the LA Times for Black Panther, Wright was specifically asked what Shuri's future dynamic will be with fellow MCU geniuses such as Stark and Banner, who will both appear in Infinity War.

"I think she'll be OK. I think she would humble herself to learn from them, and challenge them as well with new designs and new ideas from Wakanda. And she's willing to learn from the West because her brother is so open now. I think she's embracing that as well. She would hold her own."

Of course, we don't know if Shuri will be interacting with any of those characters. Infinity War's massive cast doesn't give the Russos much wiggle room to interject filler scenes for the sake of fan service. But considering that Bruce Banner will be on Wakandan soil come the big battle with the Outriders, it's certainly possible that he'll be introduced to the Wakandan princess. Stark, however, seems to be fighting a different fight in New York, and perhaps, even beyond Earth, making it more difficult for them to engage. Nonetheless, it would be such a missed opportunity if Shuri and Stark never get to meet, should the latter bite the dust in the next Avengers film.

Rounding up MCU's best brains would be a good thing if a straightforward battle with Thanos and the Black Order doesn't do the job in Avengers: Infinity War. While the premise of the narrative is deeply rooted in magic with the existence of the Infinity Gems, the Russos are also integrating scientific methods in it. A perfect example is Doctor Strange and Iron Man working side-by-side as seen in the previews, as well as the existence of Vision - a man-made creation powered by the Mind Stone. We already know that B.A.R.F. will play a role in the ensemble films and it's heavily rumored that Avengers 4 will deal with time-travel. Whatever the case, putting Banner, Shuri, Stark and even Peter Parker or Hank Pym in one tech headquarters could be fun for fans, and useful to our heroes' cause as well.
