New Avengers: Infinity War official promo art includes Okoye (Danai Gurira) and Shuri (Letitia Wright). Marvel Studios' most ambitious undertaking yet will gather up all superheroes populating the MCU for an epic showdown against intergalactic villain Thanos and his children, the Black Order. Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo and written by Stephen Markus and Christopher McFeely, the epic blockbuster will be longest MCU film to date.

It would be a gross understatement to say that Infinity War will be packed with heroes (and villains) and aptly so, considering that it is the culmination of 10 years' worth of cinematic storytelling. As the MCU continues to expand over the years by introducing new characters, the Avengers sub-franchise's ensemble also grows with the addition of fresh faces that would be headlining the film series moving forward. So with the smashing hit that is Black Panther giving us a nation full of exciting and charming new characters, it's a no-brainer that some of them will appear in the upcoming ensemble spectacle.

Coming from Redditor Cobalt Panther, the ensemble poster puts MCU newbies Okoye and Shuri side-by-side with other key personalities. The Dora Milaje general is looking fierce and graceful, wearing her army uniform while T'Challa's sister adorably rocks her Princess Leia hairdo. The poster also included Doctor Strange's Wong (Benedict Wong), who we presume will play a bigger role in the film considering that he has ample knowledge of the six Infinity Gems as revealed in the comic books. Together with the Sorcerer Supreme, the two will play a pivotal role in educating other Earth-bound characters like Tony Stark who may not be too familiar with the mysterious power that the mystical gems have. Check it out below.

Screen Rant reached out to Marvel Studios for comment, and confirmed this is not from the film division, but licensed out to third-parties similar to the Avengers: Infinity War art posters available by Trends.

Aside from the three aforementioned characters, the poster also includes the standard Infinity War crew that we have been seeing in various marketing materials for the film. And while each and everyone in the print will arguably have their roles to play in the upcoming massive fight against Thanos, it's interesting that Spider-Man is front and center in the whole spread.  Given that the tumultuous process that Marvel Studios went through to bring him into the MCU, having him headline this massive Marvel superhero ensemble poster is pretty nifty, as it mirrors how the character has been leading the way for the brand's comics for decades. It could also be foreshadowing what the franchise would look like down the road with him as the face of the successful film franchise especially with Spider-Man: Homecoming 2 ushering us to Phase 4.

As expected, Hawkeye is still missing from official promo art. Despite Jeremy Renner's character being part of the original six Avengers squad, the marksman remains absent from all kinds of marketing material for Avengers: Infinity War - be it trailers or posters. The only character-related merchandise for the film is a generic-looking bow and arrow set that could honestly be anyone's if it wasn't for its detailing. Much of the secrecy with the character is related to him possibly taking his Ronin persona from the comics. With only one more full trailer left before the showtime, it's curious if Marvel will continue to omit him from their marketing and just reveal him in the movie itself.
