While fans look forward to the incredible line-up that the MCU has for the big screen this year, with Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Spider-Man: Homecoming, and Thor: Ragnarok all on the way, the next epic crossover movie is already underway: Avengers: Infinity War. This massive superhero ensemble movie is what Marvel has been working up to since the beginning of Phase One, so it's not surprising that filming is going to take a lot longer than it would for a solo superhero flick. Production officially got underway in February, and is sure to continue over multiple sets for many months to come.

Right now, Avengers: Infinity War is filming in Edinburgh, Scotland, on a six-month shoot that includes several of the biggest names in the franchise. Both Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye) and Elizabeth Olsen (Scarlet Witch) have recently been confirmed to be on set, and as production continues, more and more behind-the-scenes photos are trickling through to the fans. Several of these don't reveal much of anything, but the latest images to surface have fans speculating about the possibility of seeing the Black Order in the movie.

MCU Exchange posted an image and a short video, both originally tweeted by a Marvel fan in Scotland who caught a glimpse of an actor on set. The tweets show two actors in mo-cap suits, holding impressive-looking weapons. One is a double-ended weapon with a spear-style head and a curved blade on the bottom, and the other looks something like a trident-shaped weapon.

This isn't the first that we've heard of the Black Order, either. Earlier this year, mo-cap actor Terry Notary revealed he would be playing one of four henchmen that Thanos has in Infinity War, which set fans speculating about the appearance of the Order. On IMDB, he is listed as playing Cull Obsidian, which seems to confirm the theory, as the Cull Obsidian (Midnight Slaughter) is another name for the Black Order.

These new images continue to add credence to the theory, as the double-edged weapon being held looks remarkably like the one used by Corvus Glaive in the comics. It is likely that the two actors pictured are Corvus Glaive and another Black Order member, probably Proxima Midnight, who also wields a staff-style weapon in the comics. Corvus is Thanos's right hand man, and is married to Proxima in the comics.

While it definitely looks like we'll be seeing these two members of the Black Order in the films, it's important to remember that this is still in the realm of speculation for now. All signs may point to the Black Order making an appearance, but it hasn't yet been officially confirmed by anyone at Marvel, or by any of the actors working on the project. That said, the Black Order is certainly the most logical explanation for the use of these weapons, and they will probably be officially confirmed soon.
