A brand new Avengers: Infinity War promo spot released alongside the Marvel Studios massive class photoshoot and 10th-year banner may have revealed that Thanos' (Josh Brolin) gauntlet is missing only two more stones: Time and Soul.

Although the MCU has been building up to Infinity War for years already, not much is known about it except that the purple supervillain is coming and he's out to collect all six Infinity Gems to execute is universe-altering plans. This causes all heroes in the MCU to come together and make sure that doesn't happen. Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, the film is dubbed the culmination of everything that has transpired in the franchise and fans are pretty stoked about it.

The clip from Marvel (which you can watch above) isn't even a trailer, but an announcement for the Marvel Studios 10 Years Sweepstakes event. It looks to include a major clue as to how Avengers 3 will pan out. Intercutting some behind-the-scenes footage with the casts' commentary, the clip includes a shot of the Infinity Gauntlet seemingly having four magical gems in it. It appears Thanos was able to get a hold of the Power Stone (Orb), Space Stone (Tesseract), Reality Stone (Aether) and Mind Stone (Vision). Only the Time and Soul Stones are left before he can roll with his evil plans. Obviously, it's possible the prop is just a decoy, otherwise, why would Marvel spare a second or two showing it if it contains spoilers? But the placement of the stones (different from the comics), checks out with the order in which they are place in the trailer (at least the first two), as well as recently unveiled Marvel Legends figures.

Narratively, it also makes sense given what we can piece out from the footage we've seen from the movie. The Soul Stone, which is highly rumored to be revealed in Black Panther, will be hidden in Wakanda, the same setting for one of the major battle sequences in the film with Cap, Bucky, Hulk, Black Widow, Falcon and War Machine teaming up with T'Challa and his people fighting off Outriders, presumably dispatched by Thanos. The Time Stone, on the other hand, is still with Doctor Strange, who is among the New York-based heroes alongside Spider-Man, Wong, and Iron Man off to their own plan to stop the Mad Titan. Leaked set photos may have revealed that Ebony Maw (Tom Vaughan-Lawlor) might try to snatch the Eye of Agamotto from the Sorcerer Supreme, but it looks like he hasn't succeeded yet.

Meanwhile, as for the Gems that Thanos supposedly has, we know that Vision loses the Mind Stone, while Loki gives up the Space Stone. As for the Reality and Power Stones, leaked footage reveals that the supervillain pays The Collector a visit to take the former with Gamora, Star-Lord and Drax witnessing the whole sequence. The latter, on the hand, is with the Nova Corps in Xandar, is also heavily rumored to be another backdrop of one of the major scenes in Avengers: Infinity War - presumably where Spider-Man and Iron Man get beaten badly by the Mad Titan, also seen in the trailer.
