Avengers: Infinity War is reportedly going to shoot scenes in Queens, New York this upcoming week. The film, thus far, has mainly filmed in Atlanta, Georgia and all around the United Kingdom but is finally coming to the Big Apple for a location shoot.

Infinity War has been filming, on and off, for almost six months now. Over the last couple of weeks, various set photos have emerged, giving fans a taste of the various pairings in the epic team-up; Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch), Bruce Banner/Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), Iron Man/Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) all share a couple some scenes together. T'Challa/Black Panther was also in the mix as Chadwick Boseman posted a photo of him hanging out with Ruffalo on set. Right now, principal photography is nearly finished, but there's one more stop off before then.

The new information comes from Twitter user @XMelDNY, who uploaded some photos of flyers advising road closures around Queens. According to the leaflets, the notice is because of a shoot for a movie called Mary Lou - which we know is the working title for Infinity War. The specific schedule is set for Monday, July 10 and will be held outside of 8-08 Queens Plaza S, Long Island City.

There is a huge chance that the Queens bit will be somehow connected to Peter Parker/Spider-Man (Tom Holland) who lives in the New York borough. Further backing up this speculation is the confirmation that one of the friendly neighborhood superhero's classmates is set to make an appearance in Avengers 3. It's possible that the sequences set in the area may be of Stark recruiting Spidey for another mission. If so, this leg of the shoot was likely postponed due to the promotional obligations for Spider-Man: Homecoming's cast - they needed to get the release dealt with before getting back to work.

This isn't the only New York-based action in the film. We already know that a bunch of supposed NYC scenes were filmed in Atlanta with a set photo featuring a destroyed New York cab prop leaked.

We can expect more information regarding Avengers: Infinity War at this D23 next week and Comic-Con International San Diego the week after where Marvel is doing a 90-minute panel in Hall H on July 22. Meanwhile, the first trailer for the film will be attached to Thor: Ragnarok in November, Marvel's head honcho, Kevin Feige, has recently revealed.
