An awesome new piece of fan art for Avengers: Infinity War brings the biggest characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe together for one final meal before Thanos' arrival. While many stories have been told throughout the MCU over the past 10 years, the overarching narrative has been building towards an ultimate showdown between the Earth's Mightiest Heroes (along with the help of the Guardians of the Galaxy) and the Mad Titan Thanos.

Josh Brolin made his debut as Thanos in James Gunn's Guardians of the Galaxy in 2014, but the supervillain first appeared in the mid-credits scene for Joss Whedon's The Avengers in 2012. From that moment, comic book fans knew exactly what awaited the Avengers' future - and it wasn't good. But that scene wasn't the only bonus scene from that film. The Avengers' post-credits scene didn't tease a future supervillain (or movie) but rather showed the heroes having a meal together, in silence, at a local shawarma restaurant. And now, an impressive piece of fan art brings that scene back in a big way.

Famed digital artist BossLogic created a piece of art called "The Last Shawarma," a spoof of Leonardo da Vinci's "The Last Supper" but with the Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy, and various other superheroes that are going to appear in Avengers: Infinity War, including an inevitable cameo by comic book legend, Stan Lee. What's interesting is that Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) takes the place of Jesus in this fan art, which makes sense considering that he was the character that launched the MCU in the first place. Take a look:

The fan art keeps in line with the marketing material for the movie thus far, particularly removing Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) from the lineup. However, at least Clint Barton makes somewhat of an appearance in this image. One of Hawkeye's arrows can be seen on the left side of the image, stuck in the "Teamwork" poster. And upon closer inspection, both Ant-Man (Paul Rudd) and The Wasp (Evangeline Lilly) can be seen standing (or floating) on the arrow. That's something that Ant-Man knows how to do from his first experience riding Hawkeye's arrow into battle in Captain America: Civil War. Moreover, Clint can be seen on the first TV screen on the right-hand side, being "spotted" somewhere in New York City along with Scott Lang. As if that wasn't enough, the second TV screen appears to give Agent Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) a well-earned cameo.

This fan art comes on the heels of Marvel releasing the official Infinity War poster last week in which virtually every major character was included except, of course, for Hawkeye. He continues to remain absent from all of the film's marketing material, and it seems it may stay that way until the movie comes out. Aside from the missing characters, the official Infinity War poster may also tease Tony's potential death. After all, directors Anthony and Joe Russo, as well as Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige, have said multiple times that people are going to die in this movie. It's just a matter of waiting to find out which characters will bite the dust in Avengers: Infinity War.
