Daredevil star Charlie Cox recently admitted he still hasn't seen Avengers: Infinity War. That means it's probably a good thing the events at the end of Infinity War don't really affect what's going on with the Marvel Netflix series.

The end of Avengers: Infinity War was virtually a bloodbath for many beloved Marvel characters. After Thanos collected all the Infinity Stones for his Infinity Gauntlet, he got access to an unlimited amount of power. He snapped his fingers once and wiped out half the universe, with many of the world's favorite superheroes dissipating into thin air, apparently gone for good (or at least until Avengers 4). The body count was high, and included Spider-Man, Doctor Strange, Black Panther, Scarlet Witch, the Guardians of the Galaxy, Maria Hill and Nick Fury. Fortunately, though, it doesn't seem as if those events will affect what's going on with the Netflix Marvel series, including Daredevil.

On Instagram, Dennis Tzeng posted a photo of an interview Collider's Scott "Frosty" Weintraub did with Charlie Cox at a convention in Las Vegas. During the panel, the actor stated he still hasn't seen Avengers: Infinity War. If Infinity War actually affected the Netflix shows, that would mean Cox is unaware of Daredevil's fate.

However, it seems Marvel plans on keeping its movie universe and Netflix universe only loosely connected and mostly separated. For example, season 2 of Luke Cage aired after Infinity War, but the season took place before the events in the movie. There could be a mention of Infinity War events later on with the Netflix shows, but considering even Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. didn't really acknowledge the disappearance of half the world's population, it's highly unlikely Infinity War will affect anything on the Netflix shows.

Meanwhile, season 3 of Daredevil just wrapped production, so it's likely Netflix will announce a season premiere date soon, although most believe it will end up being either November of December of 2018. Not much is known about what season 3 might bring, although it is possible that the main villain for the season is Bullseye.

Marvel Studios and Marvel TV continue to insist all its series are connected in some way and they all play a part in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but it seems some of the connections are loose, at best. Of course, there are fans that are disappointed Thanos' finger-snapping hasn't affected anything beyond the movies. For Cox, though, that's probably good news.
