A new clip from Avengers: Infinity War may finally confirm Peter Dinklage's role in the film. It appears that the Game of Thrones actor could be playing Corvus Glaive, a member of Thanos' Black Order. The identity of Dinklage's characters has been kept under wraps since the day he was cast.

Avengers: Infinity War, the biggest superhero team-up movie of all-time, is nearly here. New TV spots are popping up every day in preparation for the upcoming blockbuster that will serve as the culmination of ten years of storytelling. Fans are excited to see heroes from all across the Marvel Cinematic Universe come together to stop Thanos from gathering the six Infinity Stones. The Avengers, the Guardians of the Galaxy, Doctor Strange, Spider-Man, and Black Panther will have to work together to stop the Mad Titan from destroying half the universe.

In an interview with Falcon actor Anthony Mackie on Good Morning America, a clip from Infinity War was released, which previews a fight between the Avengers and the Black Order. The clip begins at the 3:28 mark. Fans can see Captain America (Chris Evans), Black Widow (Scarlet Johansson), and Falcon facing off with two members of the Black Order, Corvus Glaive and Proxima Midnight.

A wounded Corvus Glaive briefly speaks in the clip. His voice is causing fans to speculate that Corvus is Dinklage's character. Since Dinklage was cast, there have been numerous theories as to who the actor could be playing. Among the most popular theories is that Dinklage's character is actually Pip the Troll, sidekick to Adam Warlock and a key character from the Infinity Gauntlet comic book miniseries. Photos of Dinklage with a red hairdo that were taken last year seem to support that theory.

Infinity War directors Anthony and Joe Russo previously stated that fans will be able to recognize Dinklage in the film, though they cautioned "it may take you a beat or two." That lends credibility to the idea that Dinklage is playing CGI Corvus Glaive and will only be recognizable once he speaks. Meanwhile, the actors for the other three members of the Black Order have already been confirmed. Terry Notary, Tom Vaughan-Lawlor, and Carrie Coon are portraying Cull Obisidian, Ebony Maw, and Proxima Midnight, respectively.

Based on what little we see and hear from Corvus Glaive in the clip, it's difficult to determine for certain who's voicing the character or providing motion-capture. Even if we don't get confirmation ahead of time, fans won't have long to find out either way, what with Infinity War hitting theaters in just a week from now.
