Marvel Studios kicked off Phase 3 in stunning fashion by bringing 12 superheroes together on screen at the same time, resulting in one of the biggest fight sequences in cinema history. Well, if directors Joe and Anthony Russo thought constructing a sequence with that many characters was tough, it is hard to imagine just how difficult a task it will be to bring seemingly every character in the MCU together in Avengers: Infinity War and the follow-up, Untitled Avengers. The former two part films have been touted as being the culmination of the universe to this point, ushering in a new wave of headline heroes, while at the same time potentially killing off some memorable ones.

Fans are already excited to see Cap, Iron Man, Doctor Strange, and the Guardians of the Galaxy interact with one another, but there is also the chance that this could be introduction to brand new heroes. Brie Larson's Captain Marvel is highly anticipated in particular, and thanks to a new casting call for Infinity War, it appears that she and a few other characters have now been confirmed to appear.

Movie Casting Call (via Omega Underground) has posted a new casting call for the film that features what appears to be the main cast of Infinity War. Listed in the large group is none other than Brie Larson. If casting call is strictly for Infinity War, it confirms that she will be making her debut in some capacity before her solo film debuts in 2019. Meanwhile, additional members of the Guardians may have been confirmed as well with it including Karen Gillan as Nebula.

Casting calls can sometimes indicate who will be appearing in the movie, but they have also led to some false information in the past. However, with Infinity War set to officially begin production next month, casting calls that are coming out so close to production should be working with accurate information.

While it has heavily been speculated that Larson would debut in Infinity War in some form before Captain Marvel, this would be the first true statement that it is happening. Now the question will become whether she is simply Carol Danvers before she gets her powers, or if she will be a fully powered hero. There have been indications in the past that her solo movie would be dealing with her origin causing them to re-work the comic version. So if Larson is set to debut in Infinity War, fans should not be expecting her to suit up just yet.

That said, the potential confirmation that Nebula will also be joining the fight makes sense. The character is going to become a true member of the team in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and definitely has some hatred directed towards Thanos. If joining this fight is her only chance to potentially stop him, it would be odd for her not to take it. It should also be noted that Nebula plays a big role in the Infinity Gauntlet storyline that these movies could follow, which could then make Nebula's appearance even more important.
