Thanos Creator Says Fans Won’t Be Disappointed by Avengers 3 & 4

Marvel comic book artist/writer Jim Starlin shares some tidbits regarding his recent visit to the set of the still-untitled Avengers: Infinity War sequel, Avengers 4, in Atlanta, Georgia. Obviously, the celebrated comic book writer and artist cannot reveal anything specific about the project (revealing he even signed an NDA before his trip), that said, he has nothing but praise for what he found out during his visit.

Best known for being the brain behind some of Marvel's most loved cosmic tales, Starlin is also the man who co-created Thanos - the main big bad of Infinity War and possibly Avengers 4, as well. Marvel Studios is banking on Josh Brolin's upcoming supervillain gig as he has been built up to be the baddest of that bad that the MCU has seen thus far. It is no secret that despite their massive success, Marvel films almost always miss the mark when it comes to their villains - with a few exceptions. Hopefully, the imminent arrival of Thanos will soon change that.

Sharing information about his trip to the set of Avengers 4 via his official Facebook account, Starlin seems pleased with what the Russo Brothers and the rest of the cast are doing with Thanos and the overall narrative that he will participate in on the big screen, starting with next year's Infinity War:

Starlin's Facebook post is almost like a mini-review of his Marvel experience. During his trip, he kept fans posted on what he was up to while he was in Atlanta and it does look like he had a blast during the whole visit. It is also great that Marvel Studios seems to have taken the time to reach out and give the comic book writer a special tour of the set - catching him up on what they are planning to do with a character that he helped created. And if it is good enough for Starlin, we bet that it would be good enough for most fans of the supervillain who first fell in love with him in the pages of the comic books.

The cast and crew behind the project is currently hard at work filming Avengers 4, although, some pick-up shots and maybe some reshoots for Avengers: Infinity War are supposedly also on Marvel's schedule in the next several weeks. Meanwhile, as fans continue to wait for the first trailer for Avengers: Infinity War, we can expect it to drop before the year ends as company head honcho Kevin Feige previously promised.
