As the Avengers fought against ghost-like creatures from another dimension, Ms. Marvel revealed she has never seen Ghostbusters. Amid the battle against a seemingly unending amount of ghosts, Ben Grimm seemed more bothered by the revelation, telling Carol Danvers he was so upset he couldn't even talk to her. Ms. Marvel's excuse? She has been busy being a superhero. The Thing wasn't too impressed.

Back in the early 2010s, the New Avengers formed an unlikely team of heroes, as Luke Cage, Spider-Man, Wolverine, Mockingbird, Ms. Marvel (Carol Danvers), and The Thing became Earth's Mightiest Heroes. One of the team's first missions was trying to stop a demonic entity who possessed the greatest magic users in the Marvel Universe, including Doctor Strange, and making sure they didn't destroy the Eye of Agamotto. However, after the demon hopped from body to body of different heroes, it unleashed a massive attack of ghost-like beings across Earth, leading the Avengers to fight back.

In New Avengers #3 by Brian Michael Bendis, Stuart Immonen, Wade Von Grawbadger, Laura Martin, and Chris Eliopoulos, the Avengers can only watch as the sky opens up and demons emerge and attack Earth. The New Avengers take to the skies and the streets to fight, and Spider-Man asks whether there are any Ghostbusters to help them. Ms. Marvel responds by telling the team she hasn't seen Ghostbusters, which leads to a hilarious reaction from the Thing, who is wholly mystified Carol hasn't seen the comedy classic.

The Thing is so upset by the revelation Ms. Marvel hasn't seen Ghostbusters, he tells her, "I can't even talk ta you right now. That is so upsetting." Carol Danvers responds by telling him she's been busy saving the world as a superhero - which, honestly, is a perfectly fair excuse. As Ben Grimm fights a handful of ghosts, he says, "it's not like Ghostbusters ain't on cable," all the time. While The Thing is upset, Ms. Marvel doesn't appear to be too bothered by not seeing Ghostbusters, as she continues fighting the demons alongside the Avengers.

Ghostbusters is a classic film that's beloved by many, but the fact Carol hasn't seen it says more about life being a superhero than it does about her taste in cinema. Ms. Marvel routinely fought by herself and alongside the Avengers on both Earth and in space, so it's likely she hasn't had the time to sit down and watch the movie - and if she did, she might have decided to watch something else instead. So, despite The Things' protests, Carol Danvers not seeing Ghostbusters isn't the end of the world, as the Fantastic Four hero would have you believe.
