Thanos Build-A-Bear May Include Avengers: Endgame Spoilers

Thanos Time Travels to Titan in Avengers Infinity War

Possible Spoilers for Avengers: Endgame ahead!

A talking Thanos toy from Build-a-Bear may contain accidental spoilers from Avengers: Endgame. With a running time of over three hours (barring last-second cuts), the final chapter of Marvel's "Infinity Saga" is set to bring back the Mad Titan Thanos, who in last year's Avengers: Infinity War not only defeated the Avengers but used his Infinity Gauntlet to snap half of life in the universe out of existence.

As revealed in early trailers for Avengers: Endgame, it will continue the story as Earth tries to pick up the pieces following the snap. Though much of humanity just wants to try to move on from the devastation wrought by Thanos, a few of Earth's heroes are unwilling to simply let the past be the past, and seek to live up to their team name by avenging their fallen friends. In one of the most recent clips, Thanos himself appeared to tease the final battle between his powerful self and the ragtag remaining heroes of the MCU.

Marvel is of course going out of its way to keep spoilers for Endgame from reaching the internet, but leaks are always a possibility, and it seems one may have happened - and the source for it could not be more unlikely. As reported by Digital Spy, there's a new talking Thanos bear from the Build-a-Bear company that utters some phrases that unbelievably may give clues as to what happens in Endgame. Reportedly, the bear's repertoire of five phrases contains some innocuous lines from older movies like "If you cannot retrieve the orb, don't bother coming back - I will find you," which of course is from Guardians of the Galaxy. However, the bear also says three lines that have not been featured in previous movies: "I had all the power in my grasp," "How are you doing this?" and  "You do not have the power to wield the Infinity Stones."

On the first line, the fact that Thanos would talk about how he "had" all the power in his grasp certainly seems to indicate that at some point he loses that power. The second line also sounds like the utterance of a stunned and desperate character who is finally on the losing end of things after previously being all-powerful. But the third line must be the most intriguing, as it seems to imply that someone is trying to take the Infinity Gauntlet and its Infinity Stones away from Thanos, hence robbing him of his power and allowing for all the tragedy of Infinity War to be reversed.

Of course, in Infinity War several characters already ganged up on Thanos to try and get the Infinity Gauntlet off his hand. Mantis managed to put him to sleep, and Spider-Man fought for all he was worth to get the gauntlet off, but then Peter Quill ruined everything by getting angry over Thanos killing Gamora and punching him in the face, releasing him from Mantis' spell. So, it's been established that the good guys think the right course of action for defeating Thanos is to get the gauntlet off his hand. Indeed, one fan theory based on developments from the comics suggests that Nebula - who is still alive in Endgame and is in fact featured in the trailers and poster art - will be the one to divest Thanos of his power-lending gauntlet and allow for the Mad Titan to be defeated.

Did a talking Thanos bear toy actually give a hint that at the climax of Avengers: Endgame, Nebula or someone else will try to remove the Infinity Gauntlet and in fact succeed, causing Thanos to openly despair about losing his power? Or is this another case of vague hints being blown way out of proportion as fans scramble to look for clues to what will happen in the film? Only time will tell.
