Chris Evans goofs off in his old Captain America makeup in a new Avengers: Endgame set video posted by the Russo brothers. Evans' time as Captain America in the Marvel Cinematic Universe came to a close with the release of Avengers: Endgame earlier this year. The film capped off Steve Rogers' journey that began back in 2011's Captain America: The First Avenger. At the end of Avengers: Endgame, Steve traveled back in time to return the Infinity Stones to their rightful places, then stayed to live out his life in the 1940s with his original love. Avengers: Endgame ended on a scene of Steve Rogers and Peggy Carter finally getting their dance, the one they promised each other in The First Avenger.

Before Avengers: Endgame left viewers on that note, though, Steve Rogers returned to the present as old man Captain America, passing on his Vibranium shield to Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie) while Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan) looked on. It was a passing of the torch moment meant to keep the mantle of Captain America alive in the MCU, and effectively set up Marvel Studios' Disney+ TV show, The Falcon and The Winter SoldierOld man Captain America is a favorite moment among many fans, and those behind it have shown how Endgame aged Steve Rogers, including Evans revealing the age makeup and Lola VFX releasing before and after shots of the CGI.

Now, the Russo brothers reveal a fun behind-the-scenes Avengers: Endgame set video of Evans in old his Captain America makeup goofing off between takes. Evans is a spry elderly Steve Rogers in the video, pretending to throw a football and getting up close with the camera lens. Watch the Avengers: Endgame set video below.

This latest Avengers: Endgame set video doesn't reveal anything new about the movie or Captain America's ending, it's just some fun from behind-the scenes. Fans are no doubt eager to see as much from the making of this movie as they can, especially pertaining to Robert Downey Jr. and Evans, who ended their time in the MCU with Avengers: Endgame. Thankfully, ever since Marvel and the Russo brothers lifted the Avengers: Endgame spoiler ban a few weeks after the movie released, the directors and the cast have posted plenty of photos and videos from behind the scenes of the film.

In fact, one of the first things shared by Evans was a photo of his old Captain America makeup, though he was only part of the way there, not yet having added Steve Rogers' hair and costume to achieve the full look seen in the Russo brothers' video. Although Steve Rogers' story in the MCU was concluded in Avengers: Endgame, and Sam Wilson will be the new Captain America, the character lives on through each new look behind the scenes of the movie. Considering the Russos continue rolling out new images and videos at a steady pace, hopefully there's still plenty more fans have to see from the process of filming Avengers: Endgame.
