A Marvel Cinematic Universe fan perfectly lines up Iron Man's snap with the Infinity Gauntlet in Avengers: Endgame to ring in the 2020 new year. Certainly, 2019 was a massive year for Marvel Studios, releasing the culminating film of the Infinity Saga with Avengers: Endgame. The movie continued on from the cliffhanger ending of 2018's Avengers: Infinity War and featured the heroes left alive by Thanos' snap dealing with the loss of half the universe's population. When Ant-Man escapes the Quantum Realm, he inspires a plan to bring everyone back and defeat Thanos.

This plan leads to a massive battle between the Avengers - helped by all their returned allies - and Thanos' army. This huge battle scene delivered plenty of Marvel fans' favorite moments, from Falcon's "On your left" quip to Captain America picking up Thor's hammer and the MCU's female heroes teaming up. The fight ended when Iron Man used the Infinity Gauntlet to snap away Thanos and the rest of his army, allowing the Avengers to win the day, though it came at the cost of Tony Stark's sacrifice. Still, Iron Man's snap has become a fan-favorite moment and now one Marvel fan has posted a video ringing in the 2020 new year with this epic Avengers: Endgame moment.

YouTube user The Sweaty Ace posted a video showing the clock hitting midnight on Jan. 1, 2020 just as Avengers: Endgame reaches Tony Stark's "I am Iron Man" moment. The camera then pans to the Sydney, Australia fireworks, celebrating the new year not only with a climactic MCU moment, but with a real-life bang. Check out the video below.

Since folks rang in 2019 with Thanos' snap in Avengers: Infinity War, it's appropriate that Marvel fans are now doing the same thing with Iron Man's snap in Avengers: Endgame. It's arguably a better way to kick off the new decade, on the high note of a hero saving everyone, rather than on the depressing moment when the Mad Titan erased half the population of the universe. It also makes sense to end the 2010 decade, which was dominated by Marvel's increasingly popular MCU franchise, with the concluding chapter of the Infinity Saga. Hopefully, ringing in the new year with Iron Man's Avengers: Endgame snap is a sign of positive things to come for this Marvel fan and all those around the world.

To be sure, Marvel Studios and the MCU aren't slowing down. As revealed at San Diego Comic-Con 2019 and D23 2019, Marvel Studios unveiled the MCU Phase 4 slate, which includes new Marvel properties like Eternals and Shang-Chi, sequels to Doctor Strange and Thor, as well as a number of TV shows to hit Disney+. This year alone, Marvel Studios has Black Widow and Eternals hitting theaters, and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier premiering on Disney+. Plus as recently confirmed, WandaVision will release on Disney+ in 2020 as well. So there's plenty for Marvel fans to look forward to in 2020 and beyond!
