Disney and Marvel screen new Avengers: Endgame footage at CinemaCon 2019 - here are all the details of what the MCU movie footage includes. After the release of Captain Marvel last month, Marvel Studios is turning their focus to the upcoming blockbuster event, Avengers: Endgame. The 22nd movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it's expected to wrap up the story of the franchise thus far, what Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige calls the Infinity Saga. Endgame will pick up from the cliffhanger ending of Avengers: Infinity War and feature the remaining heroes attempting to avenge those they could not save from Thanos' decimating snap.

The Avengers: Endgame trailers have managed to hide quite a bit about the movie, instead focusing on the journey so far for the MCU heroes rather than what's to come. Previously, Avengers: Endgame footage confirmed Captain Marvel on Earth, though only after that was revealed in her solo movie's mid-credits scene. But even though fans are aware that the Avengers: Endgame trailers lie to some degree in an effort to avoid spoilers, they still analyze what footage has been released to learn what it reveals about the movie. Now, new Avengers: Endgame footage screened at CinemaCon 2019 further previews the MCU blockbuster (and it's unlikely to have been altered).

During Walt Disney Studios' presentation at CinemaCon 2019, Chairman Alan Horn unveiled new footage from Avengers: Endgame ahead of its theatrical debut later this month. Based on what was screened, it appears to be the same or very similar footage to what screened for Disney shareholders last month. The scene features the remaining Avengers at Avengers HQ - including the newly arrived Captain Marvel - discussing how to defeat Thanos. The CinemaCon scene opens with Steve Rogers aka. Captain America (Chris Evans), Natasha Romanoff aka. Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), James "Rhodey" Rhodes aka. War Machine (Don Cheadle) and Carol Danvers aka. Captain Marvel (Brie Larson) talking. But Carol walks away and Steve asks where she's going; she says, "To kill Thanos." The others insist they have to work as a team. Steve says to Carol, “We know up there is more your territory,” but this is “our fight, too.”

The camera cuts to Nebula, who's leaning against the doorway and tells them not to bother, she knows where Thanos is. She goes into her past a bit and reveals Thanos' "garden." Rhodey quips, "That’s cute, Thanos has a retirement home." Then, the scene shows Rocket Raccoon (Bradley Cooper) manipulating a hologram to brief the team about what planet Thanos is on, and they note the Mad Titan is using the Infinity Stones again. Thor is there, eating, but hasn't said anything. Bruce Banner aka. Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) says they're going in short-handed, but Carol counters that they have her now. There's more back and forth between Carol and the others. Rhodey says, "Hey. New girl. Everyone in this room is all about that superhero life. Where the hell have you been all this time?" Carol responds, "There are a lot of planets in the universe and unfortunately they don’t have you guys." Thor gets up and faces off with Carol, finally saying, "I like this one." Then Steve says, "Let's go get this son of a bitch."

In the final part of the CinemaCon footage, the Avengers sit in the Guardians of the Galaxy's Benatar ship. Rocket asks who hasn't been to space and half of them raise their hands. Rocket says they better not throw up on his ship. As they speed up, the camera cuts to a closeup on Steve's eyes. Then, the scene ends with the ship jumping through hyperspace at one of the jump points like in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and Captain Marvel.

Based on this description, fans can expect plenty of banter among the heroes, especially with Carol since she's new to the team. It's also clear Carol is fully confident in her ability to defeat Thanos single-handedly. And considering it's been said Captain Marvel is the strongest hero in the MCU, perhaps she could take him down alone - but the rest of the Avengers seem dedicated to avenging their friends, family and loved ones. Still, this scene is only a small tidbit from the Avengers: Endgame film, which may have a runtime of around three hours. So there's still plenty of surprises in store for Marvel fans once Avengers: Endgame hits theaters.
