There are a lot of cast members in Avengers: Endgame, but here are some notable cameos that you may have missed. The main group contained the original six stars of The Avengers, as Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, and Mark Ruffalo all returned - and some for the last time. These six only make up a fraction of the total ensemble, and the third act of Avengers: Endgame featured the return of many other characters.

The bulk of these appearances - no matter now small some may be - came once Thanos' snap was undone, and saw characters like Black Panther, Spider-Man, Doctor Strange, and Scarlet Witch all return to join the fight. Even more familiar faces returned during Tony Stark's funeral, including some surprising ones. The film as a whole is sprinkled with major MCU returns, but also features some other fun cameos.

In Screen Rant's newest video, we point out several cameos in Avengers: Endgame that many may not have noticed during their first viewings, or even in repeat trips to the theater. These cameos range from family members of co-director Joe Russo - who has a cameo of his own, too - to ESPN employees and legendary Marvel comic creators. There's even a quick appearance by Howard the Duck that you may have missed. Check out the full list of cameos in the video featured at the top of this post.

Avengers Endgame Howard The Duck Cameo

There's been plenty of attention given to Joe Russo's own cameo as the first openly gay character in the MCU, but fans may be surprised to learn that both of his daughters also made appearances in Avengers: Endgame. His older daughter played Clint Barton's only daughter and is the first one to be turned to dust by the Decimation in the opening minutes of the film, while his younger daughter played one of the kids who takes a selfie with Professor Hulk. That said, familial ties to the Russos isn't the only way to get a small role in Avengers: Endgame, as Ken Jeong and Yvette Nicole Brown are the two latest Community stars (which the Russos created) to make MCU appearances.

Avengers: Endgame also holds the final cameo by Stan Lee, who has appeared in all 21 prior MCU films, as well as a handful of other Marvel movies over the years. He isn't the only Marvel comic legend to make an appearance, though, as Jim Starlin - the creator of Thanos - has a small cameo in the same scene with Joe Russo. Between these cameos, the surprise return of Ty Simpkins as Harley Keener, and all the other characters who appear, Avengers: Endgame is packed with new characters to spot every time you watch it.
