Here are 25 behind-the-scenes secrets from Marvel Studios' incredibly secretive production of Avengers: Endgame. It is fair to say that the fourth Avengers film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe was one of the most highly anticipated movies of all-time. The build-up to the event was 21 films in the making and Avengers: Infinity War only increased interest in it after half of the universe was turned to dust. Just like their previous MCU efforts, directors Anthony and Joe Russo had plenty of surprises up their sleeves for Avengers: Endgame and the culminating nature of the movie made it one of the more secretive Marvel productions in history.
Outside of a few set photos that clued in fans to the likelihood of time travel being used, Marvel was mostly successful in keeping Avengers: Endgame's biggest secrets under wraps. Now that the movie is out in theaters though, the cast, crew, creators, and really anyone involved with the movie have started to open up and reveal new details about the making of the film or share BTS images and videos from the set.
In Screen Rant's latest video, we discuss 25 different BTS details and facts about Avengers: Endgame. These pieces of information range from the production timeline to comments on how the opening of the movie nearly was the ending of Avengers: Infinity War. There are a lot of secrets to explore, so check out the video at the top of this post for more.
The BTS details and looks at Avengers: Endgame don't stop with just these 25 mentioned in the video though, as it seems like new pieces of information or photos are being released daily. One of the most recent showed Captain Marvel and Iron Man getting acquainted after returning to Earth, which wasn't in the movie itself. Meanwhile, the Russo brothers captured and have now shared a BTS look at the time travel sequence to The Avengers, which resulted in all six of the original Avengers and Tom Hiddleston suiting back up in their 2012 looks.
The cast has also not been shy of detailing their own experiences filming Avengers: Endgame, with them sharing a BTS photo of the surviving characters eating Chinese takeout. Jeremy Renner has also joined the fun and released a bittersweet look at Hawkeye and Black Widow's trip to Vormir. But, hardly any of these new photos or videos pack as much star power as the group shot Karen Gillan shared from Tony Stark's funeral. With more pictures and interviews likely still to come, we're probably nowhere close to the end of learning more about Avengers: Endgame than we already do.
