Warning! Spoilers ahead for Avengers #750

Marvel Comics' Avengers is about to release its 750th legacy issue, and a new preview reveals that Kid Thanos will be able to time-travel, much like Kang the Conqueror. While the typical adult Thanos is a nihilist who seeks to bring about the death of the entire universe, it seems as though the goals of his youth were somewhat smaller (while still evil) as this new preview sees him focused on specifically killing the Earth at the dawn of time.

Past Marvel issues have teased the history of Thanos as a child and his interactions with Earth. Not only was he influenced by Mephisto to fight the Avengers of 1,000,000 B.C., but it seems as though he's done more in Earth's past that has largely remained a mystery (until now). Judging by the previews, it seems Kid Thanos' youthful recklessness and enthusiasm for death and chaos could provide even more dangers than the more tempered villain he becomes as an adult.

Avengers #750 will offer a collection of different stories from Jason Aaron, Christopher Ruocchio, Aaron Kuder, Ed McGuinness, and more. As seen in a new preview, one particular story will feature Kid Thanos backed by an army of robots in Earth's past and it looks as though he'll be facing the Lord of the Savage Land known as Ka-Zar. Additionally, the young villain confirms that he has the ability to time-travel just like Kang the Conqueror. Here are the preview pages for the Kid Thanos story and the synopsis for the upcoming 750th issue:

Apparently, Ka-Zar will be all that stands in the way of Kid Thanos and his army of drones destroying the world before it's even begun. Being a prologue at the dawn of time, it's unlikely that Kid Thanos will succeed in his efforts, though the fact that he possesses time-travel capabilities opens up whole new avenues for the character to become a major threat in the present Marvel Universe apart from his older self. Much like Kang, the ability to travel through time will Make Kid Thanos an incredibly formidable villain in the Marvel universe.

One has to wonder how Kid Thanos might react to his adult counterpart should the two ever meet. The upcoming Avengers #750 should prove to be quite the dynamic story celebrating Earth's Mightiest Heroes, including their villains both old and new, including Kid Thanos. A time-traveling Kid Thanos should prove to be just as dangerous as Kang the Conqueror (if not more so). The full Avengers #750 releases on December 1st.
