Avengers 4 directors Joe and Anthony Russo celebrate the beginning of reshoots with a brand new image. Despite getting help from the Guardians of the Galaxy and other superheroes, the Earth's Mightiest Heroes failed to foil Thanos' plans of galactic genocide, with Avengers: Infinity War ending in people, as well as plants and animals, suddenly disintegrating into dust. Not much is known with regard to specific plot details of Avengers 4, other than the fact that the remaining heroes will do everything in their power to restore order in the universe, and take down the Mad Titan once and for all. The movie is set to cap off the 22-film arc that the MCU has been laying out since 2008's Iron Man.

Fans have had to go several months now without any official updates in regard to Marvel Studios' forthcoming films. Things changed earlier this week, however, with the release of fans' first look at Brie Larson as Captain Marvel, and an extensive feature offering details about her standalone film. And now, a brand new image from the Russo Brothers marks the official beginning of Avengers 4 reshoots.

It's been previously believed that reshoots for Avengers 4 started several weeks ago, and were expected to last the whole summer. Apparently, based on a brand new Instagram post by the Russo Brothers, reshoots just began. There's not much to dissect in the image, as it's a photo of Joe Russo and a Marvel superfan popularly Known as Nem: The Infinity Watcher. Check out the image below:

Fans know Nem from earlier this year, when he made the news for watching Infinity War countless times. His story eventually reached Marvel Studios, and the Russos reached out to him with an invite to the big red carpet premiere of Avengers 4 next year. But it turns out that he was also given the opportunity to visit the set of the still-untitled film in Atlanta. From the looks of it, it seems like spending all that money and time re-watching Infinity War in the theater was all worth it.

However, those hoping that Nem's going to be the source of any information with regard to what he saw on the set of the film should prepare to be disappointed. On the fan's official Twitter account, he uploaded a specialized pamphlet handed to him from Marvel Studios politely asking him to keep the secrets of Avengers 4 safe. Aside from The Russos' social media update, new images featuring several Avengers 4 actors filming a scene are giving fans some material to chew on as everyone waits impatiently to see a trailer for the film. Meanwhile, a separate update from Jeremy Renner has also hyped people up about Hawkeye's eventual return into the thick of things after sitting out Infinity War's fight.
