It appears Mantis may be teaming up with Captain Marvel and Okoye in Avengers 4. Even though Avengers: Infinity War featured almost every hero from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, there will be even more in Avengers 4. Many first time meetings happened in the last outing, which made some fan-favorite pairings like Iron Man/Doctor Strange, Thor/Rocket, and Black Widow/Okoye possible. The latter made many viewers even more interested in a supposed all-female team-up movie.

There's been talk of such a movie since Tessa Thompson first mentioned the multiple female MCU heroes proposing the idea to Kevin Feige. With Phase 4 still largely a mystery, the next chance fans will have to see some of them share the screen is in Avengers 4. Well, it looks like another mini A-Force scene may be included next year too, between several newer additions.

Pom Klementieff made her second appearance as Mantis in Infinity War, but she may have accidentally revealed a big team-up is in her future in Avengers 4. During an interview with Paper, she was asked about the #MeToo movement and that's where the possible slip up came. She mentions being on set with both Brie Larson and Danai Gurira, who play Captain Marvel and Okoye respectively. With this news, it appears Mantis will be sharing the screen with Captain Marvel and Okoye in Avengers 4.

Mantis was one of the casualties of Thanos' snap in Infinity War, so this statement by Klementieff just further confirms that those who died are coming back in Avengers 4. After all, Okoye survived the snap and it's believed that Captain Marvel will too, as she's been seen in Avengers 4 concept art with the rest of the surviving heroes. How much, if any, screen time Mantis, Captain Marvel, and Okoye actually share remains to be seen.

If one had to guess when such a team-up could happen, there's a clear answer at this point. There have been repeated teases by other cast members - such as Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, and Letitia Wright - that Avengers 4 features a massive scene with just about every MCU character. If Captain Marvel and Okoye team-up with a revived Mantis, it's most likely coming in that scene. That said, there's also the heavily theorized time-travel plot that could allow these characters to cross paths in the past.  Whatever the case may be, Klementieff's comments only add more intrigue to Avengers 4. Unfortunately, we'll have to wait until the end of the year to get some official word on the highly anticipated follow-up.
