A new fan-made poster for Avengers 4 unites the original Avengers and Brie Larson's Captain Marvel. The Marvel Cinematic Universe is in desperate need of saving after Thanos wiped out half of the universe's population with his now infamous snap. The act left only a handful of MCU heroes alive and ready to fight in Avengers 4. The core of this team that looks to go against Thanos next are none other than the original six members of the Avengers. Their involvement isn't by accident from a story perspective (according to Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige, anyway), but they won't be completely alone.

The original members, now older and with new looks, will be accompanied by Nebula (Karen Gillan), Ant-Man (Paul Rudd), Rocket Raccoon (Bradley Cooper), and newcomer Captain Marvel. The latter was teased in Avengers: Infinity War's post-credits scene, but finally got the spotlight to herself earlier this month, thanks to Entertainment Weekly's Captain Marvel cover story. Larson's solo movie comes out just two months before she teams up with Earth's Mightiest Heroes in Avengers 4 - but we won't have to wait that long to get an idea of how they'll look together.

Official promo art for Avengers 4 revealed the surviving members fighting together, but today it is "u/gar-mon" on Reddit that crafted a fan-poster for the team. The poster, which refers to the movie as Avengers: End Game (its heavily rumored, but still unconfirmed, title), shows the original six MCU Avengers together with Captain Marvel. Take a look, below.

The updated looks for Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Captain America (Chris Evans), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), and Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) come from newly released HD Avengers 4 promo art. The all-purple look for Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) is an edit, as is the new suit for Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson). The Captain Marvel image comes straight from the EW cover though.

This is but the latest piece of unofficial content released for Avengers 4, as fans anxiously await for Marvel to begin the film's actual marketing campaign. A teaser poster for Avengers 4 should arrive prior to the first trailer, but that is probably still several weeks away. In the meantime, Marvel is focusing on getting Captain Marvel's marketing campaign fully up and running. Rumor has it the first Captain Marvel trailer will launch this Tuesday, so an official poster ought to arrive by that point (if not beforehand).

Once the Captain Marvel trailer drops, then eyes can turn towards Avengers 4. Feige has indicated that the official title for Avengers 4 will be revealed as part of the first wave of marketing for the film, closer to the end of this year. Avengers 4's marketing push is thusly expected to begin by either late October or mid-November (at the earliest) - so until then, fan content like this will have to tide everyone over.
