We recently got our first looks (via promo posters) at the Na'Vi creatures that inhabit Pandora, the fictional planet which is the setting for James Cameron's Avatar. Both of the posters only showed one half the creatures' faces, one a male Na'Vi (Sam Worthington), the other a female (Zoe Saldana). While these posters were cool, they only hinted at the Na'Vi's full-body figure.
Well, today we all may get our first full-body look at the Na'Vi in the form of a toy/action figure. Apparently it's pretty much an accurate representation of Jake Skully (aka Sam Worthington) from the actual Avatar movie.
6,000+ lucky people at Comic-Con recently got a look at the 24 minutes of Avatar footage Cameron showed off in 3D. Most people who saw it have been raving about it, only furthering the hype that surrounds the actual movie. They (plus a group of others a little while before Comic-Con) are the only public audience to see just what these mysterious blue Na'Vi fully look like - until now. Thanks to CHUD.com now we all know what the aliens from Avatar will look like. Take a look:

I'm guessing the reason this particular Na'Vi is wearing clothes is because he's a human manufactured one (aka an Avatar) as opposed to a natural ones that inhabit Avatar's "other world" planet, Pandora. I don't know about you, but it's not what I expected the full body view to look like. It's not as... wowing as I thought it would be.
Of course this is a toy/action figure, and therefore it's not going to look anywhere near as impressive as it will in the actual movie. I'll wait for some official footage to be released to the public before I judge the look of any of Avatar's characters too much.
Avatar opens in 3D and regular theaters on December 18th, 2009.
