Screen Rant has mastered all four elements, much like the Avatars of yore, in order to provide an exclusive first look at the newest Avatar: The Last Airbender statue, courtesy of Dark Horse Direct and Nickelodeon. The Avatar franchise, affectionately known as ATLA, began when the Nickelodeon series first premiered in 2005 - and it hasn't slowed down since.

After three successful seasons, ATLA branched out into various other mediums in order to continue expanding the world and story. Aang's story has been continued in comic book form and even retold in a live-action film, though its reception was divisive. His successor carried on the legacy for four seasons in The Legend of Korra before living on in comics as well, proving the staying power of Avatars in the hearts and minds of audiences.

With a new live-action Avatar: The Last Airbender series in development at Netflix - not to mention new animated movies at Paramount - it's no wonder Dark Horse Direct and Nickelodeon have chosen to unleash their bending powers to bring fans a new statue, featuring Aang and everyone’s favorite flying lemur, Momo. Taking a cue from its parent company, Dark Horse Comics, Dark Horse Direct is continuing to build out the world Nickelodeon created and making it ever more accessible to fans.

Aang Statue From Dark Horse Direct And Nickelodeon

The new Aang statue from Avatar: The Last Airbender depicts the young protagonist wielding his glider staff while suspended in a gust of swirling air. The piece was sculpted by BigShot Toyworks, while the prototyping and paint were done by Jason Wires Productions. The polyresin collectible clearly draws its inspiration from Aang’s appearance in Book 3, as he is clothed in Fire Nation attire and ready to take on Fire Lord Ozai.
