Like all games in the looter genre of games, collecting the gear dropped by enemies in Outriders is incredibly important. By killing different enemies throughout the game's world players will see that these enemies drop a wide array of different loot. This loot can then be picked up by them to acquire all kinds of different items to make them more powerful. The more powerful the enemy killed is then usually the more powerful the loot they drop is.

One of the most frustrating things that can happen though is that the player can kill an enemy and then forget to pick up the loot that the enemy drops. Since loot must be picked up manually the player can risk abandoning loot all over the place, which can be pretty annoying. Those players who are a little more forgetful may want to turn on the Auto-Loot option to make their lives a little easier. This guide shows players how to use Auto-Loot.

Outriders: How to Use Auto-Loot

Turning on Auto-Loot in Outriders is actually a pretty easy process and there is a customization option for it that is extremely helpful. All the player has to do is enter the options menu of the game and scroll down until they reach the gameplay options section. The fourth option down will be called "Auto-Loot Minimum Rarity". What this allows the player to do is set up what rarity of item they wish their character to loot automatically. The player can make it to where they only loot the rarest of weapons or have their character pick up anything in between. It is completely up to them.

What this will do is that when a player finishes a quest or leaves an area, all of the items that are set up to Auto-Loot will be added to the player's inventory automatically. This allows the player to spend more time playing rather than determining if a piece of loot is worth picking up or not. Players should keep in mind though that their inventory space is limited though, so they should go through their items regularly to decide what should be equipped or disassembled to make room for better quality gear in the future.
