Christian Jessup is a film composer and movie enthusiast from North Carolina, composing for the big screen since 2014. In February 2014, his composition, "Hope," won the NC Council on the Holocaust music contest, and was performed for an audience that included Holocaust survivors and their families. In late 2016, he won 7 awards (including 2 national prizes) for writing his own original score to the film Star Wars. In summer of 2017, Jessup interned with Hans Zimmer's film music studio, Remote Control Productions in Santa Monica, California. This opportunity allowed him to study under some of the world's best film composers including Lorne Balfe, Ramin Djawadi, Dominic Lewis, and Jasha Klebe. In 2018, Jessup became a co-host on film review television show, "Meet Me at the Movies," and was named the Broadcast Film Critics Association scholar for the year. Jessup has also continued to compose, scoring the recent documentary short film "Galapagos Suite."
