A Screen Rant reader in college, Chris was hired by the site in July 2013 to write weekly box office prediction posts in conjunction with the Screen Rant Underground podcast's game. His role has since evolved, and he is now an Associate Editor. Chris' primary responsibilities involve covering daily news stories (the Star Wars beat is an area of key interest) and writing features on some of the industry's hottest topics. In 2016, he became one of Screen Rant's movie reviewers. Chris previously penned scripts for videos on the site's YouTube channel. Chris credits Pixar and Lucasfilm with launching a lifelong fascination with movies. He enjoys watching everything from the biggest Hollywood blockbusters to Oscar contending dramas and anything in between. Chris' favorite genres include sci-fi/fantasy, crime, action, and drama.
