Now in its third season, FX's hit series Atlanta continues to stand out thanks to its eclectic cast of oddball characters led by Earn, Paper Boi, Van and Darius, a quartet of tight-knit friends and family doing their best to overcome hard luck and find success in the modern rap game.
Despite being male-dominated, the beauty of the series is how focused it remains on the four main protagonists, allowing for minor characters to come into their life and exit just as quickly as people often do in real life. Those wondering how their zodiac sign aligns with the Atlanta characters are in the right place.
Aries - Van
Vanessa "Van Keefer (Zazie Beetz) is a character primarily defined by her immaturity and unwillingness to grow up on the beloved FX original show, the number one source of friction between her and her ex, Earn. Geminis are not only the social butterfly of the zodiac, which Paper Boi certainly demonstrates while rapping in front of crowds, but he's also extremely self-conscious about his newfound popularity and isn't sure if fame will really fill the void in his soul. Grappling with his past and future, Paper Boi has all the indecision of a Gemini.
Cancer - Ahmad White
Easily the most mystical, mysterious, and elusive character to pindown, Ammad White (Emmett Hunter) is an ethereal vision that comes to Earn and random times at home and airs bizarre ads on TV and provides some of the show's most surreal moments. He's also a bit of a spiritual guru who nurtures Earn's well-being at times, especially with those Nutella sandwiches.
Cancer signs are not only considered the caretaking homebodies of the zodiac but they are also known to have a mysterious secretive side that makes people guess about their true nature. Since Ahmad gives no clues as to his origin, he's a Cancer through and through.
Leo - Black Justin Bieber

Virgos are known for being hard-working, reliable, kind, and patient. They are also considered one of the most egotistical zodiac signs, harboring a grandiose view of themself. Like the best of well-rounded characters in Atlanta, Clark County (RJ Walker) shows the best and worst of Virgo.
Clark County is the boastful commercial rapper who Earn and Alfred first think is an industry plant. However, Clark shows what a humble and caring person he can be when he befriends Paper Boi and shows him the ropes. Moreover, Clark has the calm serenity often associated with Virgo.
Libra - Bibby
Paper Boi's hilarious scene-stealing barber Bibby (Robert Powell) has all the hallmarks of a Libra. He's gregarious, extremely friendly, and comfortable in his own skin. Even when he's brutally honest, Bibby remains charming as can be.
Of course, on the downside, Bibby can also be extremely flaky, as seen when he upped and left on Paper Boi mid-haircut. Libra is often among the flakiest zodiacs and is constantly being pulled between two places. The social chameleon of the chart, the unbounded air sign moves around freely as Bibby does on the show.
Scorpio - Benny Hope
While it's too easy to paint Scorpio as a one-note villain (Florida Man, Death Doula, etc.), it's more interesting and humane to focus on their positive traits. Defined by their bold creativity and indiscretion, Benny Hope (Derrick J. Haywood) is a character in Atlanta that fits the Scorpionic mold.
As a reclusive pianist from whom Darius attempt to purchase a piano, Benny is both highly creative and super secretive, two distinct Scorpionic traits. Despite his mysterious nature and stoic demeanor, Benny's passion for music cannot be discounted. The biggest tell-tell sign? Like the best of Scorpios, Benny does not care what anyone else thinks about his music.
Sagittarius - Jaleel White
Sometimes, a TV show leaves no room for imagination. Indeed, popular TV star Jaleel White appears as himself in Atlanta, playing in a charity celebrity basketball game with Paper Boi, Lloyd, and Justin Bieber. Naturally born on November 27, 1976, White is truly a Sagittarius.

Hailed as an eccentric visionary, Darius (LaKeith Stanfield) couldn't possibly be anything other than an Aquarius. Armed with extrasensory perception, a futuristic mind, and a free spirit, Darius is also the most exceptional character on the show. With all-time great quotes, Darius waxes so deeply philosophical that nobody knows what he's saying half of the time, yet he always seems to be right.
Simply operating on a higher frequency than most, Darius' mental acuity and advanced mind state paired with his undying love and loyalty to Earn and Alfred really round out his Aquarian characteristics.
Pisces - Dave
Known as The Empath with a major penchant for music appreciation, it's no stretch to think Dave (Griffin Freeman) is a Pisces. The friendly radio show host has dedicated his livelihood to listening to music and influencing the landscape of radio play, giving Earn sage advice about the industry.
Moreover, Dave's time as Christina's significant other (Van's childhood friend) shows what a caring person he is, often putting her problems before his own like a true empathetic Pisces.
