Publisher Ubisoft has stated that the second year of post-launch support for Assassin's Creed Valhalla will surprise the game's fans. The most recent installment in the long-running franchise, Assassin's Creed Valhalla takes the historical fiction series to the Viking expansion into British territory. The open-world title allows players to step into the role of the warrior Eivor as they fight to find, and then defend, a home for their people.
Since its release in November 2020, Ubisoft has continued to support Assassin's Creed Valhalla through the release of updates and downloadable content. Assassin's Creed's upcoming Seige of Paris DLC was detailed at E3 2021, giving players a deeper look into the future of the Viking adventure. E3's Ubisoft Forward broadcast revealed that the Siege of Paris will release this summer, and the expansion will include a ton of new features. The DLC's story will take place in 885 and will focus on Charles III, the first sole monarch of France in centuries. Protagonist Eivor will be forced to avoid conflict with the powerful kingdom in order to protect their people. Ubisoft Forward also announced a slew of additional content coming to Valhalla such as one-handed swords, an educational Discovery Tour mode, and a second year of post-launch support. A one-handed sword update is coming to Assassin's Creed: Valhalla soon, and fans are eager to see what else Ubisoft has in store for the playerbase.
