Players have only had their hands on Assassin's Creed Valhalla for a short time, but most have already discovered the many different activities available to them. Players are able to go hunting for the array of legendary animals throughout the world, raid and pillage coastal villages in Viking era England, or even fight to bring down members of the Order of Ancients. A lot of players may have completed most of what Valhalla has to offer though.

The upside now though is that there has been an update to Assassin's Creed Valhalla that has brought the Yule Festival to the game. This holiday event alters the world in some interesting ways but also grants players new activities and missions to complete. One such mission is the Cow Catcher, which tasks players with tracking down some cows that managed to escape. This guide shows players how to complete the Cow Catcher mission.

Players won't be able to start the Cow Catcher mission immediately but instead will need to have a few prerequisites met. They will first need to work until they get their settlement at level 3, which may take a little bit of time. Once this has been done it will unlock the Cattle Farm, which players can then build at their settlement. This will then allow the player to travel to their new Cattle Farm and find the NPC Winfirth who will be speaking to another NPC named Bertham. Players will just need to approach them to start the Cow Catcher mission.

The first objective of this mission tells the player to travel to the shore. All they have to do is travel south from the farm until they come across a boat, which can then be used to cross to the other side of the river. Three different markers will then appear on the map, and players can follow each of them in order to find a cow that must be brought down. Once players kill a cow they can loot the body to collect meat from them and then move on to the next.

After these three cows are taken care of players will receive another marker that points them towards the location of the last cow. All the player has to do is travel here and reach the marker. This will trigger a cutscene where Bertham will kill the cow. Players than just have to return back to the farm and speak to Winfirth to end the mission and earn 140 Yule Tokens.
