While players have had their hands on Assassin's Creed Valhalla for a little while now, there is still a massive amount of activities and tasks for them to complete. Throughout the Viking game players are able to defeat a wide array of difficult enemies, track down and hunt various legendary animals, or even go sailing and looting around the world. Some players may be feeling that things have grown a little bit stale though.
If that is the case then the brand new Yule Festival event may be exactly what those players need to keep things feeling fresh. This event adds a little more holiday cheer to Assassin's Creed Valhalla but also allows players to complete several new missions. One such mission is the Case of the Missing Ale, which has players tracking down some special alcohol brewed by Tekla. This guide shows players how to complete this mission.
Assassin's Creed Valhalla - How to Beat Case of the Missing Ale
In order to start this quest players will want to travel the marker on their map over to Tekla's brewery where they will find a man named Alwin who is complaining about the fact that Tekla's special brew has gone missing. Alwin has no idea where to find the brew, but he believes that Tekla's old apprentice Ake might have some idea, so the player must then set out to find them. Ake can be located on an island just southeast of Ravensthorpe, so players will want to travel over there and speak to him.
The heavily inebriated Ake will inform the player that bandits stole the special brew when no one was paying attention, but he plans on storming their camp to get it back. Players will need to dispatch the brewer's apprentice in a fistfight in order to convince him that he's too drunk to fight, and then travel to the bandit camp themselves.
Once here they will find that the place is swarming with enemies, so they should all be dispatched or sneaked past as quickly as possible. Players can then use their Odin vision to search the buildings in the camp until they uncover a building in the southeastern portion that contains the special brew. All the player has to do now is enter the building, grab the barrel of ale, and carry it back to the shore where Ake is waiting on a boat. This will end the missions and grant the player with some Yule Tokens.
