Ashley Greene gained fame via her performances in The Twilight Saga, but her career has been going strong with the recent releases of the Netflix horror film Aftermath (2021) and the low-budget actioners One Shot (2021) and Wrong Place (2022).

While those films didn't hit the big screen, Box Office Mojo has the tallies for all of her films that did receive a theatrical release, wide or limited. From ensemble biting satires to TwilightThe Twilight Saga: New Moon and beyond, Greene is a star who helps sell tickets, and with several projects scheduled for the remainder of 2022, her star's still shining bright.

Butter (2011) — $175,706

Butter is a political satire in the guise of a small town culinary contest, and it comes across as condescending more often than not. The performances are also hit or miss, with Jennifer Garner and Rob Corddry hitting the difficult tone best of all.

Box Office Mojo reports that Butter only played for a single week in 90 theaters, earning a total of $105,018 from the United States and Canada as well as $70,688 from international markets. Box Office Mojo doesn't have a reported budget, but any movie with Garner, Hugh Jackman, Olivia Wilde, and Greene assuredly cost more than $175,706.

The Apparition (2012) — $11.4 Million

Apparition sebastian stan

The Apparition isn't one of Sebastian Stan's highest-grossing movies, but it is one of Greene's. It's also the only Greene-led film to receive theatrical distribution. Unfortunately, the film was met with a dreadful response both critically and commercially, mostly due to the fact that the film barely contained a scene viewers hadn't seen in other, better films.

The Apparition held a budget of $17 million, which is far from a figure to scoff at when it comes to horror without any big high-concept hook. Unfortunately for the film, it only played in at most 810 theaters (per Box Office Mojo) and ended with only $4.9 million from the United States and another $6.4 million from international territories.

Bombshell (2019) — $61.4 Million

Jay Roach's Fox News scandal film Bombshell brings a lot of the stars to the table, including Greene as former Fox & Friends host Abby Huntsman. However, her role is limited to a one-scene cameo.

The film earned $61.4 million worldwide on a budget of just $32 million, according to Box Office Mojo, but a film typically needs to earn three times its production budget at the worldwide box office to move from the red to the black. Add in the fact that it featured several of the biggest stars on the planet, and Bombshell was neither bomb nor hit, even if it did keep the budget respectably low.

Twilight (2008) — $408.4 Million

Ashley Greene as Alice Cullen in Twilight

It didn't quite happen from moment one, but the Twilight film franchise was a major deal for each respective year in which an installment was released. Greene portrayed Alice Cullen in all five installments, a member of the same tribe as Robert Pattinson's Edward Cullen. She doesn't have the most integral role in the franchise, and her role in the first film is slight, but Greene makes her seem like a positive person well worth having around. She's the welcoming member of the Cullen clan, kind enough to greet Bella with open arms and a tone of inclusion.

The first film in the saga may have performed like a blockbuster, but according to Box Office Mojoit didn't have the budget of one. Twilight hit the big screen on a $37 million budget and earned over 10 times that worldwide for a total of over $400 million.

The Twilight Saga: Eclipse (2010) — $698.5 Million

What sets Alice apart from the remainder of the Cullens is her telepath ability, and it often comes in handy in showing how the film's third act could go if the vampires and werewolves don't temporarily set aside their differences.

The Twilight Saga: Eclipse dipped from its predecessor, New Moon, with $698.5 million worldwide (per Box Office Mojo). However, with that being said, Eclipse was where the Twilight franchise peaked in the United States.

The Twilight Saga: New Moon (2009) — $711 Million

Ashley Greene as Alice Cullen in Twilight Saga

The Twilight Saga may be fueled by a protagonist Redditors find to be whiny, but Greene always managed to bring a level of wisdom to her work as Alice. In the first sequel, Greene is given far more to do, especially during the third act when she and Kristen Stewart's Bella are paired in Italy.

The sophomore installment opened twice as high as the original film with a phenomenal $142.8 million, yet the budget had only been bumped up by $13 million, according to Box Office Mojo. In the end, the film earned over 14 times its production budget worldwide, making New Moon somewhat of an event film, a trend that would persist throughout the remainder of the franchise.

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1 (2012) — $712.2 Million

The Twilight Saga's winning streak continued with the penultimate installment, Breaking Dawn Part 1. The half-film carried a modest budget of $110 million and opened to $138.1 in the U.S. and Canada alone. However, yet again, Greene's Alice is more or less a character on the sidelines.

In the end, it went on to net over $700 million worldwide (according to Box Office Mojo), which is an impressive multiple for a film that felt as unnecessarily bloated as every other "Part 1" of a single narrative.

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 (2012) — $829. 7Million

Ashley Greene Alice Cullen Twilight

Alice's telepath powers get their best workout in The Twilight Saga's final installment: Breaking Dawn - Part 2. She (and her husband, Jasper) also have a direct role in the final film's plot, and it's because of Alice and her powers that the franchise gets its best action sequence, even if it is somewhat of a fake-out.

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 followed the trend of many other popular sagas and made more money than all the movies that led up to it. Specifically, the film netted $291.3 million from domestic theaters (per Box Office Mojo) and another $537.4 million from international markets.
