Over the weekend, Dancing with the Stars professional dancer Artem Chigvintsev recognized Nikki Bella’s 37th birthday with a tribute post on Instagram, wishing her the “happiest” day and “lots of success.” The two originally met on the set of Dancing with the Stars back in 2017, but were both in relationships with other people at the time. By 2019, they were single and seeking love elsewhere before eventually finding their way back to each other. They have since gotten engaged and welcomed a baby boy, Matteo, into their lives.
The two have yet to say “I do,” but the love is certainly there. In addition to uploading a special photo for his wife-to-be, Chigvintsev posted several Instagram Stories throughout Nikki Bella’s birthday, expressing how much he adores her. Matteo made an appearance on social media as well, with Chigvintsev posting an image of him cuddling with his mom. The dancer captioned the photo, “Love this so much.”
Chigvintsev’s original birthday post, uploaded on Nov. 21, called Nikki Bella his “better other half” and “rock.” The Dancing with the Stars pro also considered himself lucky to have Nikki Bella in his life, and recognized her as an “incredible” mom. At the end of his post, Chigvintsev signed off with “can’t wait to see you to celebrate,” which would lead one to believe that the two were apart at the time. There are also few details on how Nikki Bella spent her actual birthday, which she shares with twin and Total Bellas co-star, Brie Bella.
Regardless, it would appear that Nikki Bella has plenty to be happy about these days. The new mom recently confirmed that both she and Brie Bella have decided to relocate from Phoenix, Ariz., to Napa Valley, Calif. She jokingly called it her “biggest online purchase yet,” and recalled the difficulties of being pregnant while living in the desert. This is the first child for Nikki Bella and Chigvintsev, while Brie Bella and husband Daniel Bryan have two little ones of their own.
Chigvintsev reportedly spent a lengthy amount of time putting work into his and Nikki Bella’s house in Arizona, and he was not initially happy about her decision to move. However, with the ample amount of love between these two, it seems that there’s nothing Chigvintsev won’t be able to overlook. At the moment, they are waiting to move into their Napa Valley house, as Chigvintsev is finishing his role on the latest season of Dancing with the Stars. That being said, these lovebirds have a lot of memory-making to look forward to in the coming months.
