In the comics, superhero love interests are often the main method writers used in order to ground these larger-than-life characters and allow them to show their more human side. Since it's launch back in 2012, the Arrowverse has given the world its take on classic comic book relationships like Barry and Iris' as well as providing new ones like Oliver and Felicity's.

However, there are still a bunch of relationships from the comics that we haven't seen and may never see from the shows. While some are less likely to happen than others, here are some are 10 pairings that haven't happened in the Arrowverse but have in the comics.

Superman and Wonder Woman

Superman Wonder Woman Kiss Jim Lee

A romantic relationship between Diana and Clark like they have had in the comics is extremely unlikely to happen, since the prime universe Superman is already happily married to Lois Lane and with the upcoming Superman and Lois series, which will focus on them attempting to raise 2 sons.

There's also the fact that the character of Wonder Woman has yet to be introduced or explored in the Arrowverse, which is likely to change as the shows and movie universes become more similar, and she's the only member of the DC trinity to not be confirmed to exist on Earth-Prime yet.

Batman and Catwoman

Bruce Wayne and Selina Kyle's relationship is one of comic's longest-running, they even recently became engaged back in 2017.

While their romance has been explored on various TV shows like Gotham, it has yet to be seen in the Arrowverse. Since it has been confirmed that Batman exists in the universe, there's a chance fans could see dynamic come into play eventually on Batwoman, if Bruce ever returns.

Linda Park and Wally West

Another iconic relationship from the comics that audiences will likely never get to see is the dynamic between Wally West and Linda Park. With her becoming the girlfriend and then later wife of Wally, the two even have children Jai and Iris West.

Linda Park was on the show, but she became one of Barry's love interests before he eventually ended up with Iris, and then she eventually moved to Coast City to protect herself from Zoom. Wally is also no longer a main character on the show due to the actor moving on to other projects, so it's unlikely that the Arrowverse will see this duo in the future.

Raven and Beast Boy

As of Crisis on Infinite Earths, Titans has been confirmed to be a part of the Arrowverse, although it takes place on Earth-9, unlike most of the shows which take place on Earth-Prime. In the comics, Garfield Logan and Rachel Roth is a fan favorite, pairing mostly due to how their unique personalities complement each other.

Considering that Teagan Croft, who plays Roth, is 16, and Ryan Potter, who plays Logan, is 24, the chances of this relationship showing up in live-action is unlikely. So far, there have been teases to them having a close dynamic, but the actors' age gap may prevent that dynamic from being explored further in the show.

Aquaman and Mera

Arthur Curry and Mera are one of the more underrated romances of the comics, one that was recently shown in Aquaman

Neither character has been seen in the Arrowverse, but since Cisco from The Flash did state that Atlantis now resides on Earth-1 as opposed to its previous home on Earth-2, we could possibly see them in a future season of the show.

Arsenal and Cheshire

Roy Harper was first introduced on Arrow when he attempted to steal Thea Queen's purse and eventually went on to assume his role as Oliver's partner and his mantle as Arsenal. On the show, Roy has only ever been in a relationship with Thea, with Roy asking her to marry him at the end of the series.

In the comics, Roy has a complicated relationship with the assassin, Cheshire, and they have a daughter named Lian. Adding this element and having her on the show would have provided an extra dynamic to the character of Roy, since the only real-time their relationship has been explored is on the TV show Young Justice. The only place we could see the relationship explored is on the potential Green Arrow and the Canaries spinoff.

Nightwing and Oracle

An additional relationship fans hope to see is the one between Barbara Gordon and Dick Grayson. In the comics, Gordon takes on the codename after becoming paralyzed thanks to the Joker and giving up the Batgirl identity.

Oracle was name-dropped in Arrow season 4, when Oliver admits to almost giving the codename to Felicity before stating that it was taken. The show everyone is most likely to see them together on is Titans since Dick Grayson is one of the main characters. Although Barbara hasn't appeared on the show yet, she will be in the show's third season, so there's potential to see them together.

Talia Al Ghul and Batman

Arrow has often been criticized for taking elements from Batman, more specifically, his connection to the League of Assasins. When the League was introduced in season 3 and then Talia was introduced to the show in season 5, fans reasonably hoped that this would lead to seeing the relationship between her and Bruce Wayne.

While it isn't one of the more popular relationships, the dynamic between Talia and Bruce is one many people are at least familiar with, since the most common thing associated with it is their son, Damian Wayne, who eventually goes on to become Robin. It has been confirmed that Batman has a history with both Talia and Ra's in the Arrowverse, so there's a strong possibility that Damian already exists.

Zatanna and Constantine

John Constantine has been a main character on DC's Legend of Tomorrow since his introduction in season 3 as the team's master of the dark arts. Since then, John has been in numerous relationships, including one with Sara Lance, so it's a surprise that Zatanna hasn't been one of those love interests, especially during the show's more magic focused seasons.

Matt Ryan, who plays the character, has expressed his desire to see Zatanna make her way into the series, stating that the relationship between the two is something that he has wanted to explore in live-action. It was most recently depicted in the animated Justice League Dark: Apokolips War movie so it might appear in the Arrowverse sooner rather than later.

Ralph and Sue Dibny

Another relationship that is now up in the air is the one between the Elongated Man and his wife, Sue Dibny. On The Flash, Ralph became a member of Team Flash season 4, and then in season 6, Sue Dearbon was added to the show and there have been hints at a budding romance.

However, with Hartley Sawyer's recent departure from the series, it is currently unknown if the show will recast or write the character out of the show, meaning that the future of this relationship is unknown.
