Everyone knows that the Arrowverse is awesome. It is all about our favorite comic book heroes from DC. Some of the best shows from the Arrowverse include The Flash, Batwoman, Supergirl, Stargirl, and, of course, Arrow. Some of the actors we have so much respect for from these epic and heroic shows are Grant Gustin, Stephen Amell, and Brandon Routh. There is also Melissa Benoist, Ruby Rose, and Katie Cassidy.

What a lot of people might not think about is the fact that these incredible actors have starred in plenty of other television shows and movies, outside of the Arrowverse. Tuning into shows from the Arrowverse is fun for comic book lovers and superhero fans but for viewers who really appreciate the actors behind the roles, checking out their other big parts can be just as fun.

Melissa Benoist - Marley Rose In Glee

There are plenty of reasons why Melissa Benoist is such a great young actress in the Hollywood spotlight today and obviously one of those biggest reasons is her leading role on Supergirl.

What a lot of people might not also remember or think about is the fact that she also snagged the role of Marley Rose on Glee before taking on Supergirl. During her time on Glee, she was able to show off the fact that she has an incredibly beautiful singing voice. Glee is a show known for being filled with catchy song covers and she definitely contributed to that during her short time on the show.

Stephen Amell - Garrett Kent In Code 8

Stephen Amell's biggest role outside of Arrow would definitely have to be as Garrett Kent on Code 8. It is a 2019 film that is classified as both a sci-fi and fantasy movie and is about a young man who has special powers. Upon realizing that he has special powers, he ends up clashing with the police force in his town after committing a crime.

Seeing Stephen Amell in a different role outside of Arrow is super interesting and exciting. This sci-fi film from last year suited him perfectly.

Ruby Rose - Stella Carlin In Orange Is The New Black

A lot of people remember that Ruby Rose snagged a role on Orange is the New Black before taking on her role as Batwoman. Ruby Rose is a talented and beautiful model turned actress who has a crazy huge fan base due to the fact that she advocates for the LGBTQ community. Ruby Rose has decided to step down from her role as Batwoman, much to the dismay of Arrowverse fans everywhere.

When Ruby Rose starred on Orange is the New Black as Stella Carlin, she played the role of an inmate who ended up getting into a lot more trouble than she expected for herself. The character she played started out as someone we were rooting for but she ended up being pretty shady, just like the rest of the characters featured in the show.

Grant Gustin - Sebastian Smythe In Glee

Grant Gustin is the actor behind the role of the Flash on CW's The Flash. On The Flash, we get to see Grant Gustin play the role of Barry Allen to the public and then the role of the Flash whenever he has to battle it out against villains and other bad guys.

Grant Gustin was a superb choice for the part of the Flash, and now, we can't think of anyone else who could play the role better. Aside from his leading role on The Flash, Grant Gustin also landed a role on Glee, just like Melissa Benoist did. While on Glee, we got to hear him belt out some awesome songs as his character Sebastian Smythe.

Katie Cassidy - Ruby In Supernatural, Juliet Sharp In Gossip Girl

Supernatural is another huge show from which fans of Katie Cassidy recognize her. Of course, we know and love her from her time as Laurel Lance/Black Canary on Arrow but recognizing what she brought to the table as Ruby on Superntaural is important too.

Interestingly enough, another role she snagged from the CW was Gossip Girl. On Gossip Girl, she played the part of Juliet Sharp, a young woman who was out to get revenge. Her character arc on Gossip Girl did not quite end very well. Katie Cassidy was a great addition to shows like Supernatural and Gossip Girl, but her time on Arrow has been the most significant.

Danielle Panabaker - Layla In Sky High

People who grew up watching Disney Channel easily recognized Danielle Panabaker’s face because she had a few Disney Channel roles when she was younger. One of her most notable roles is from a movie called Sky High in which she played one of the main characters, Layla.

It is a movie about kids who have superpowers. The students at this school must come together to learn how to hone in on their powers and better control them since they don’t fit in with regular students at regular high schools. Her time in the Arrowverse has definitely been a game-changer for her acting career.

Candice Patton - Tori In The Game

Candice Patton is a fan-favorite from the Arrowverse. The show that she is part of from the Arrowverse is called The Flash and she plays Barry Allen's love interest, Iris West-Allen.

Patton's biggest role outside of The Flash would have to be as Tori in The Game. The Game is a TV show that ran for nine seasons from 2006 to 2015. The Game even won a few awards including the NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Actress in a Comedy Series and the NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Writing in a Comedy Series.

Brandon Routh- Clark Kent/Superman In Superman Returns

Superman Returns Brandon Routh

Brandon Routh's biggest role outside of the Arrowverse would have to be Superman Returns. Just like in the Arrowverse, he plays the role of Clark Kent, also known as Superman. Brandon Routh does a great job taking on the role of Superman. He is amongst a great list of other actors who have played the hero in the past including Henry Cavill, Tom Welling, Tyler Hoechlin, and Christopher Reeve.

Taking on a role like Superman must come with its own added pressures because Superman is arguably the most well-known and beloved comic hero ever. Brandon Routh doesn't fail to impress as the iconic hero in both Superman Returns and in the Arrowverse where, again he plays Superman but also plays Ray Palmer, also known as The Atom.

Brec Bassinger - Catherine in 47 Meters Down: Uncaged

Brec Bassinger’s biggest role outside of the Arrowverse would have to be 47 Meters Down: Uncaged. Brec Bassinger is absolutely stunning and also very well-known for her role on the Nickelodeon series Bella and the Bulldogs along with her role of Catherine in 47 Meters Down: Uncaged.

The shark film was released in 2019 and is classified as both a horror and adventure film. It raked in $46.1 million USD in the box office. Brec Bassinger has already done so much for being so young and we look forward to seeing much more from her.

Chyler Leigh - Lexie Grey In Grey's Anatomy

Chyler Leigh’s biggest role outside of the Arrowverse would have to be Grey’s Anatomy. During her time on Grey’s Anatomy and she played the role of a doctor just like a lot of the other actors on Grey’s AnatomyGrey’s Anatomy is such an intense show that has run for so many successful seasons, with no sign of stopping yet.

In the Arrowverse, Leigh is part of the show Supergirl as Alex Danvers and works alongside Melissa Benoist, Mehcad Brooks, David Harewood, and Katie McGrath.
