Oliver Queen's final costume in Arrow has been revealed in new season 8 promo pictures. Season 8 of Arrow marks the end of the show, bringing closure to one of the longest running comic book shows on television.

Throughout its eight year run, Arrow has accomplished a lot with its protagonist. Oliver Queen has battled countless villains, became a hero, and saved Star City multiple times. He's made allies, enemies, and even got married two seasons ago. The show's most recent season concluded in May, and featured a number of new developments. The biggest was Oliver going with the Monitor to prepare for Crisis on Infinite Earths. It's hard to say how things will play out from here. Oliver will likely have a big role in Crisis on Infinite Earths, where it's quite possible he will die in battle. One thing is for certain however: Oliver is going to be donning one more suit for his final season.

Oliver Queen's new costume for season 8 of Arrow has been revealed (via EW), and it's certainly more sleek than his most recent suit. Check out the images below.

For any who haven't kept up with the show, it may seem odd that Oliver lacks a mask here. In season 6, Oliver revealed himself to the public as Green Arrow, and was arrested. In season 7, he was released and actually began to work officially with the Star City Police Department. So, with the world knowing who he was, a mask became irrelevant and will not likely be coming back for the final season. Overall, many fans should be pleased with Green Arrow's new look.

Not many story details regarding Arrow's final season have been released. However, Katherine McNamara has been upgaraded to series regular, as well as Joseph David-Jones. This could imply that the flash forwards with Mia Smoak and Connor Hawke will return as a primary focus. Of course, what is known is that Crisis on Infinite Earths will be a major focus. Will Green Arrow actually die during the event? The show seems to be leading toward that. However, it is interesting that Stephen Amell said he would be open to returning as the character after the show's conclusion. There are a lot of mysteries surrounding Arrow's final season, and Crisis on Infinite Earths. Arrow is expected to have a panel at Comic-Con this week, so some details should be unveiled then.

Arrow season 8 premieres Tuesday, October 15.
