Arrow season 6 premiere images teases a Black Canary (Juliana Harkavy) and Black Siren (Katie Cassidy) showdown. Little is known regarding the narrative arc that the show will take, especially with Oliver's (Stephen Amell) flashback storyline finally coming to a close via last season's cliffhanger. Folks behind the series have been very tightlipped with regard to potential casualties on Lian Yu which may make some fans worried about their favorite Team Arrow members.
As promised, however, it seems the show will not dive straight into resolving the mystery. Instead, Arrow season 6 appears to open while everyone (at least, those who survived) is already back to Starling City, carrying on as vigilantes do.
In light of the upcoming roll-out of Arrow season 6, The CW has released a slew of episodic photos for the show's premiere episode titled 'Fallout' and one of the most notable from the bunch is a face off between Black Canary and Black Siren. In the image, the two femme fatales are facing each other with a couple of unconscious people lying on the floor surrounding them. Judging by some other photos included in the gallery, it appears that the unconscious men were part of Black Siren's entourage and it is possible that they were easily taken down by the Black Canary leading to the encounter.

Other photos from the batch include Oliver and his son Wiliam having a heart-to-heart talk. We know that their relationship will be a key focus in the season as they try to strengthen their bond and make-up for all the years that they were apart. One person that could dampen their reconciliation progress is the re-emergence of Raisa, the maid who has supposedly been a key part of Oliver's life growing up. The last time we saw her was all the way back from the show's first season and it just seems a little bit odd that after all these years, the character is being reintroduced back into the show. Oliver sure does not look happy with her coming back. If anything her holding a backpack (presumably William's) designed with The Flash-looking insignia could be hinting to something or maybe it's nothing more than a fun Easter egg.
Admittedly, the photos reveal almost nothing in terms of the show's overall narrative for the upcoming season, but they do provide an idea of what to expect with the premiere episode.
Arrow season 6 premieres on Thursday, October 12 @9pm on The CW.
