In just one week, The CW fans will finally get to see all their favorite TV superheroes get together for one big crossover event. Starting with Supergirl on Monday, then heading into The Flash, Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, all of next week's all-star lineup will be dedicated to a four-part story involving technologically advanced aliens called the Dominators. After these invaders attack Central City, Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) and Cisco Ramon (Carlos Valdes) bring Kara (Melisa Benoist) over from her Earth to help them out, while also rounding up the Green Arrow (Stephen Amell) and all the Legends for a massive battle.

So far, we've only see glimpses of these Dominators in teasers released for the crossover. In the past, producer Greg Berlanti has said there'll be a lot of special effects involved with bringing the aliens to life, so it makes sense that they're waiting for a much larger reveal in the episodes themselves. The Dominators were first introduced in 1967's Adventure Comics as villains of the Legion of Super-Heroes, a team which even included Supergirl at one point. While there have already been teases of the Legion on The Flash and Supergirl, for now all the superheroes are joining together to make a very different kind of team.

Four newly released posters below, one for each of the shows, teases not just the superhero team-up but also the Dominators themselves. There's an alien ship and two portals for Kara and the Legends to join the rest of the team. The posters actually form one big banner divided into four parts, much like how the episodes will be one big story as part of a special four-night crossover event.

Also, it's being dubbed Heroes v Aliens, but there could be some hero vs hero action. Reportedly, the Dominators in this adaptation will be to control minds, leaving everyone in danger of possibly becoming a bad guy. Originally in the comics, the Dominators were just master geneticists who could manipulate the metahuman gene to enhance members of their own species, while also working to prevent other species from becoming metahumans themselves. According to reports, they attack Central City during the crossover to stop Earth’s surging population of metahumans.

After next week's event, fans also won't have to wait too long for another crossover. The second half of the season will feature a two-part musical crossover on Supergirl and The Flash that is sure to be a lot of fun. Those two characters with their upbeat personalities are always the life of the party, so we'll have a second chance to watch them play off themselves outside of the doom and gloom of Heroes v Aliens. All four CW superhero shows are currently firing on all cylinders, so there's plenty of story to watch unravel over the rest of the year even aside from the various crossovers.
