Uche Nwosu and Clinton Moxam from Are You The One? season 6 have shared that they tied the knot over the weekend. The pair had instant chemistry when they both appeared on the MTV dating show, and fans noticed the sparks right away. The happy couple just proved beyond a doubt that they really are meant for each other.
MTV's Are You The One? was a dating series that used modern technology to help young people find true love. 20 men and women went to a secluded island where they had to hunt out their perfect match. A dating algorithm was used to help ensure compatibility, including in-depth interviews, questionnaires and testing. The perfect matches were kept a secret from the contestants and viewers. All 20 contestants had to get to know one another while living under the same roof. If each singleton found their perfect match, they all won one million dollars and love. If not, they were sent packing.
Are You The One? season 6 took place in New Orleans, but it didn't make finding their love connection any easier. MTV reality stars Uche and Clinton said "I do" in an intimate wedding that took place in Chicago on September 4. The couple has yet to announce their marriage formally, but fellow alum Anthony Martin helped get the news out with an Instagram post from the festivities. Clinton and Uche took part in a traditional Nigerian wedding and were seen wearing custom outfits for the occasion. Check out the post below:
The wedding was a small MTV reunion as The Challenge's Kam Williams and Leroy Garret made an appearance. Kam shared on her Instagram Story a clip of Clinton and Uche's first dance. Multiple Are You the One? stars attended, including Malcolm Drummer, Nicole Spiller, Alivia Hunter and Zoe Pugh. Justine Ndiba and Cely Vazquez from Love Island were also in attendance.
Uche and Clinton were not a match on the show but continued to pair up for challenges. Fans will recall that Uche went off on Jade when she found out she was making the moves on Clinton. Even though science told them they were too different, the couple believed that their love was true. During the season 6 reunion. Clinton asked Uche to be his girlfriend, and the two never looked back. In June of 2020, Clinton announced the couple was engaged on his social media. The Are You The One? wedding looked to be a lot of fun as the happy couple was surrounded by close family and friends.
