The characters in Archer are all ridiculously funny and cynical, yet deeply disturbed. They are each pretty awful in their own respective ways which is what typically makes the show so great. Audiences love to see the truly messed up situations that these characters continuously get themselves into. They often times are the bad guys of their own stories without even realizing it.

Archer always seems to make sure they keep up to date on pop culture references as well as they have referenced Harry Potter and other popular fantasy stories a number of times throughout the series. If each Archer character was placed into a Hogwarts house, it would probably be for drastic reasons as each character is an exaggeration of traits to the point where it's bad. Bravery to the point of chaos, intelligence to the point of mad science, and cunning to the point of compulsive lying. Here is a list of which Hogwarts house the characters from Archer would fit into.

Sir Arthur Woodhouse - Hufflepuff

No one is quite loyal like Woodhouse is. No matter how many punches this character takes, he always seems to be on Archer's side and will do anything for the young boy he has come to raise. He is the best representation of a Hufflepuff in this show.

Like a Hufflepuff as well, Woodhouse has an incredibly strong work ethic, always dedicated to his job of being Sterling Archer's caretaker. He would do anything for Archer.

Barry Dylan - Slytherin

Though inconsistent, as is everything with this show, Barry remains as one of the main antagonists of this series and as Archer's archnemeses. He is the perfect Slytherin due to his ability to hold grudges and plan revenge.

Barry occasionally comes off as a pretty okay guy, but focuses too much on his need for revenge on Archer. He focuses it so much that it ruins pretty much all relationships he builds throughout the series.

Raymond Gillette - Ravenclaw

Ray is one of the few voices of reason in this series, he often shows that he is probably the most normal of the bunch, even though he often snaps and goes crazy with everyone else. Ray is a perfect Ravenclaw. He is incredibly clever and knows how to handle a number of situations.

Unlike Krieger, who is featured in the next entry, Ray doesn't value scientific intelligence but rather life intelligence, always seeming witty and understanding of what others are going through.

Dr. Algernop Krieger - Ravenclaw

Dr. Krieger

Krieger definitely is a Ravenclaw. He loves knowledge just for the sake of knowledge. He is the brains behind the group, even if he oftentimes also does some pretty strange things. He has a virtual girlfriend, Mitsuko Miyazumi, that he made himself, and is constantly making new tech for the rest of the spies.

He is the mad scientist of the series, and it is commented that he is probably insane. He takes many of the Ravenclaw traits and exaggerates them.

Cyril Figgis - Slytherin

Cyril often likes to play "the good guy," but oftentimes he may just be considered one of the worst in the bunch. He is constantly trying to get away with really horrible things that he typically blames on others.

Audience members are meant to feel sorry for him in the first few seasons, but it is slowly revealed that he is just as bad as the rest of them. He is extremely sly and cunning, able to manipulate situations to his advantage, and enjoys getting some good revenge on those who have done him wrong. Cyril's personality and actions have definitely deemed him as a Slytherin.

Cheryl Tunt - Gryffindor

Cheryl Tunt

Cheryl is definitely something else. And for her sheer delusional behavior, yet wildly bold personality, Cheryl would most likely get sorted into Gryffindor. She is courageous beyond means, to the point where she may not even find her acts of bravery anything special.

She is constantly unafraid and only has a small number of fears. She runs into danger willingly and has no issues seeing some dead bodies. She is extremely daring.

Pamela Poovey - Hufflepuff

Pam is definitely the most comical character in the series and is pretty much as loyal as they come, except for when she gets her hands on cocaine, like in Archer: Vice. Then its anyone's game. But normally, Pam is definitely all about her friends. She comes back to save them on numerous occasions, often showing that she is probably the most physically strong on the team.

Pam is one of the most caring and seems to listen to when people are upset and attempts to uplift their moods. She is the heart of the group.

Malory Archer - Slytherin

Malory is as sly and cunning as they come. She is incredibly ambitious, which makes her the perfect Slytherin. She is constantly doing things (no matter how questionable) in order to make sure her spy agency and her employees are the best.

This, of course, falls through on multiple occasions, but she continues to persevere no matter the means to get it up and running and to have a good name within the industry.

Lana Kane - Gryffindor

Lana Kane glares in Archer

Lana is definitely a Gryffindor, with maybe a touch of Ravenclaw. She is incredibly smart, but her courage seems to always beat out her wit. Out of everyone in Archer, she seems to be the one with the toughest head on her shoulders and is pretty much always the voice of reason, much like Hermione in Harry Potter.

Lana will burst into action whenever she is needed and will do just about anything to protect her loved ones.

Sterling Archer - Gryffindor

Archer pretty much takes all of the qualities of a Gryffindor and drastically exaggerates them, making them become pretty toxic traits for a person to have. He is recklessly confident and brave, always sure of himself no matter the situation, which often leads to mistakes.

He is extremely self-absorbed and wants to be the star of every scenario, the constant center of attention, which becomes pretty rough considering most of his missions are team-based.
