In Pokémon Legends: Arceus, players will want to glide around the region using their Pokémon to soar through the air and cover huge distances over the large map. Hisuian Braviary is the Pokémon players will unlock to access this feature and explore Hisui from the sky. To ride a Pokémon and glide in-game, players will need to unlock the Celestica Flute and find the special mountable Pokémon.

Players will be given the Celestica Flute as part of the main story in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. Players will be given this item from the Diamond Clan after they first visit the Grandtree. The Celestica Flute will allow players to summon the first rideable Pokémon, Wyrdeer. Of note, players will not be able to throw Poké Balls and attempt to catch Pokémon while riding a Pokémon, but they can still be attacked by wild Pokémon.

Before players can ride, or glide, on a Pokémon, they will need to befriend special ride Pokémon. Once befriended, players will notice an icon on the lower right side of the screen. Players should select the icon and use the Celestica Flute to summon the Pokémon. Pokémon Legends: Arceus players do not need to have the Pokémon they want to use in their party, as the flute will let them use any Pokémon in Pokémon Legends: Arceus they have previously befriended and is eligible to ride regardless of the player's team.

Pokémon Legends: Arceus - Where to Find & Catch Braviary

Hisuian Braviary soars in the air in Pokemon Legends: Arceus

Players will discover the rideable Braviary mount in Arceus shortly after arriving in the frigid Alabaster Icelands. The main story will lead players to a temple where they will need to solve puzzles to reach a trainer battle. The Pokémon the NPC trainer has in their team include a Rhyperior, a Magmortar, and an Electivire. With this lineup, players may want to approach this battle with Water and Ground types. Once players defeat their opponent and win the battle, they will unlock the ability to glide through the air on Braviary once it is summoned with the Celestica Flute.

The gliding Pokémon Hisuian Braviary is not only unique in that it allows players to ride on it, but this Pokémon is Psychic-Flying type instead of Braviary's traditional Normal-Flying type. To find and catch the Pokémon in Pokémon Legends: Arceus Hisuian Braviary, players should travel North to Lake Acuity after reaching the Alabaster Icelands. Braviary is only found at the Alabaster Icelands after players have defeated the fourth Noble Pokemon. Here, players can find the pre-evolved form of Braviary, Rufflet. Players should catch a Rufflet, and then level it to level 54 using either experience or Rare Candy. Once Rufflet reaches level 54, it will evolve into Braviary.

Players can also catch Braviary's regional form in the Alabaster Icelands too, but it will require Jet Balls. Using this method, players should travel to Snowpoint Temple, which is East of Lake Acuity. From the top of the temple, players will see a white triangular structure. From the top of the structure, players will see a flying Hisuian Braviary, which can be caught with a Jet Ball and a well-timed throw. Jet Balls are unlocked in Pokémon Legends: Arceus by progressing the Survey Corps Rank.
