Jason Momoa has shared a brand-new video from the start of the Aquaman global press tour. DC and Warner Bros.' newest leading man stopped in China first, with the U.K. and other big-time locations to follow. The actor is less than a month away from the premiere of his first DC movie as the main star, taking title character duties in director James Wan's version of Aquaman when it hits North American theaters on December 21.

China is an important first stop for Momoa and the makers of Aquaman. The country is going to set the tone for the movie's commercial performance with its early release date of December 7, two weeks before the domestic release. Momoa has shared a candid video of his experience in China promoting the movie, and based on the looks of it, there are plenty of big Aquaman fans over there.

Watch Momoa's first press tour video for Aquaman below, via the actor's official YouTube channel. He teases that the U.K. is the next stop for the Aquaman press tour, so there's probably more where this video came from. In the video, Momoa marvels at the mere fact that he's flying around on a private jet and staying in a large, lavish hotel room as part of his tour. Clearly, he's trying to stay humble as he matures into the big-budget star that DC and Warner Bros. are counting on him to be. There's also a glimpse of the press events he attended with fans, including some dressed up as Aquaman himself.

In one of the funnier moments of the video, Momoa immediately regrets his decision at a press event to hype Aquaman as "the most impactful film of our generation." Even the most demanding studio exec would understand that Momoa was exaggerating just a bit. He remarks with a smirk that the makers of the video probably shouldn't "put that out there". But obviously, Momoa and the makers of the video aren't terribly concerned about that comment.

The final trailer for Aquaman has been released, and TV spots are rolling out as well. This video may not be of much interest to fans who only want to see footage from the actual movie, because there's none of that. But for viewers who want to see what it looks like behind the scenes with a group of A-listers schmoozing and running around on a press tour for a big-budget release, this video has plenty of that. Most importantly, it appears that fans in China are very excited to see the movie. Aquaman's box office projections are tracking for franchise lows, so Warner Bros. may have to count on China to deliver a strong number in order to bolster the movie's worldwide total. Momoa and Wan have to feel good about the movie's prospects in China after their visit.
