Few shows in the history of television were more arbitrary and made less sense than Aqua Teen Hunger Force. It was, for all intents and purposes, the story of a Happy Meal that came to life and supposedly became detectives. The only problem was that they never really solved any cases and committed an almost endless number of crimes.

The only one of them who was remotely rational, competent, or intelligent was Frylock, and even those attributes didn't prevent him from dying, sometimes quite brutally. Fortunately, dying on Aqua Teen Hunger Force was never anything close to a permanent condition.

Gem Lost Its Energy

Aqua Teen Hunger Force

Frylock was quite literally a living box of French Fries with a face and a goatee. He lacked arms and legs, though the fries coming out the top of his head sometimes act appendages. If that wasn't enough, Frylock also had superpowers.

The brains of the operation floated around and was able to shoot energy blasts from his eyes thanks to the gem on his back. One of his most innocuous deaths was in the second-to-last episode when the gem on the back of his body simply ran out of juice.

Blown Away By Meatwad

Aqua Teen Hunger Force

Possibly the most common way to die on Aqua Teen Hunger Force was getting blown away by a shotgun. It happened at least 14 times, with all four main characters getting shot, often by each other. Several side characters, including George Washington, suffered the same fate.

In "Super Birthday Snake," an insane plan to help Meatwad find out if he could handle a pet turned into an insane Inception-esque virtually reality experience. When Meatwad came out of the final VR stage and returned to reality, he killed Frylock with a shotgun and ate his brain.

Burned To Death By ICP

Aqua Teen Hunger Force

The Aqua Teens made a lot of friends over the years. Though, in their case, "friends" usually means people who didn't try to kill them for at least two days. That would have been an extremely short list. Their closest friend was Carl, and he would have killed them for a sandwich.

In one episode, which featured horrorcore rappers the Insane Clown Posse, Frylock blamed their music for Master Shake's death and subsequently sued them over it. Unfortunately, ICP had an excellent defense in that they burned the courthouse down with everyone in it.

Cut In Half By Carl

The final episode of the series saw everyone die several times in many horrible ways. At one point, the main characters, the most popular side characters, and Christopher Lambert were all gunned down by police officers.

Carl, who himself was killed several times throughout the episode, was responsible for both of Frylock's solo deaths. Carl first killed him by cutting Frylock in half horizontally with a sword, then killed him again later by cutting him in half vertically.

Died In An Underwater Car

Aqua Teen Hunger Force

The last episode of season eight got weird, and that's saying a lot for this show. It was revealed that Carl was a spy sent by the government to monitor Master Shake, Meatwad, and Frylock. Actually, that kind of makes sense. They should have been under surveillance by all levels of law enforcement.

What resulted from that reveal was the Aqua Teen Hunger Force version of a James Bond movie. At one point, Meatwad and Frylock ended up trying to escape underwater in a submersible car. Frylock died when the car crashed into a reef after Meatwad escaped.

Mauled By A Shockingly Big Poodle

Aqua Teen Hunger Force

If the name of the TV series wasn't enough of a mouthful, the movie was called Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film for Theaters. It was essentially a really long episode that somehow made even less sense than usual.

The opening of the movie featured the guys in Egypt as they escape from the Sphinx. They were subsequently attacked by a giant poodle that killed Frylock. Then, Master Shake killed the giant poodle, and Time Lincoln arrived to revive Frylock.

Skull Ripped Out

The Creditor was what would happen if The Predator and a loan shark had a baby. The loan shark aspect of The Creditor was the reason Master Shake went to him in the first place. Shake needed money for a stretch Hummer, of course.

But, the problem was Shake couldn't pay him back, The Creditor ripped his skull and spine out. He did the same thing to both Carl and Frylock, as well as several other characters. Much to The Creditor's dismay, he couldn't harvest Meatwad in the same way, as the little guy had no bones at all.

Dissolved By Master Shake

Aqua Teen Hunger Force

Master Shake wasn't called Master Shake because he was filled with lemonade. He was supposedly filled with pistachio milkshake, though Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film for Theaters did call that into question to an extent.

While whatever came out of Master Shake's head in that movie might have still been pistachio milkshake, that goo still dissolved both Meatwad and Frylock. What a horrible way to go.

Disintegrated By Lightning

Aqua Teen Hunger Force

Season eight opened with a two-part episode that was essentially about Frylock trying to ditch Shake for good. He and Meatwad trapped Shake in a sleep chamber that kept him unconscious for nine years while a spider-like alien mated with his face over and over.

By the end of the second episode, multiple characters had been killed by lighting throughout the two-parter. That included several random people, Carl, Master Shake, Meatwad, and, of course, Frylock. It was bleak, to say the least.

Crammed Full Of Eggs

Aqua Teen Hunger Force

It's entirely possible that Carl was the most disgusting person on the planet. That went for his mind, body, and soul, as well as how he lived his unbelievably gross life. Plus, his home was an absolute sty.

Carl stopped cleaning his pool, which inevitably led to some kind of evil mermaid-like creature moving in. She eventually took Meatwad, Carl, and Frylock to the depths, then crammed them full of eggs until they died. For what it's worth, two guys killed Shake with a chainsaw.
