This is an adaptation of the best-selling crime book, Are You Sleeping?, starring Octavia Spencer and Aaron Paul. While this series is definitely more intense and crime-oriented, this show tells the story of a podcast that reopens a long-closed murder case.

Josie, the protagonist, life unravels when she is forced to confront her past. This show should be dramatic, and tells a personal and heart-wrenching story. It comes out in December, so wait on the edge of your seat for it.

This show is a bit paranormal, but it's also totally for every book lover out there. It tells the story of a ghost who is haunting a neighborhood bookstore and releases fictional characters into the world. Four kids bind together to solve the mystery. This show is comedic, intense, and totally nerdy. If you love the beautiful mind of Dickinson, we're guessing you'd like to see some fictional characters come to life. Besides, we all love a good show with a bunch of quirky young leads.

Mr. Corman

This drama series is written, produced, and stars the wonderfully brilliant Joseph Gordon-Levitt. He plays an elementary school teacher who is trying to cope with life in Los Angeles. This show should give you the same feels as Dickinson, and we expect you'll fall in love with this character pretty quickly. This show is still in development, so you might have to wait a little bit for it. Still, we know it'll be worth it, and it'll be out hopefully by the time you finish all these other shows.

J.J. Abrams teams up with Jennifer Garner for this limited series. It is based on a memoir about a woman, who is awaiting heart surgery. She turns to a group of friends, and this heartwarming and heart-wrenching tale is full of wholesome friendship and life stories.

This drama series follows a young girl in a big city. Her visit to her dad's small, lakeside town turns into an obsession with trying to uncover clues to a cold case. This show is created by Dana Fox and Dara Resnik and is still in production. Still, it should keep you on the edge of your seat. This show is definitely darker than Dickinson, but we thought if you liked that story of a young woman, you'ss probably like this one, too. Everyone's story is different, and this one is definitely more intense.

Mythic Quest

This comedy series stars Rob McElhenney, Charlie Day, and Megan Ganz (some It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia veterans). This series follows a group of developers who are working on a new video game. This show stars a brilliant director with a huge ego, and you can expect some hilarious drama and pretty creative content. There isn't too much of a stretch between novel writing and video game creating, right? Besides, this comedy tackles the human mind during innovation. Pretty close, right? Expect some hilarious, dynamic, and intriguing things from this new show.

For All Mankind

Yeah, you might be thinking that a space show really isn't in line with Dickinson's life story. However, this series is also (sort of) based off of real events, and has some incredible female leads. If you love Dickinson for its defiance of female limitations, this show should also fill your needs.

This show explores what might have happened if the space race had never ended, and we think that's pretty darn interesting. While it might be a bit more intense and scientific than that of the female writer, we still think this concept is great for the nerdy and feminist mind. Plus, who doesn't love space?

Inspired by true stories from Epic Magazine, this series tells the inspiring and true experiences of immigrants in America. This show has romance, humor, and heartwarming stories. This show is created by Kumail Nanjiani and Emily V. Gordon (our favorite pair from The Big Sick). This show should be as wholesome as you could ever want, and clearly, you're a fan of some true-inspired stories if you're following our girl, Dickinson. These experiences are exactly what North America needs right now, and we could all use a bit of truth from these brave and wonderful people.

Ted Lasso

Starring Jason Sudeikis, this show follows a man, an American football coach, who is hired to manage an English football club. The catch, though, is that he no soccer experience at all.
