New Apple Music Student Plan subscribers can now get a pair of Beats Flex earphones with every subscription. For the most part, Apple has been known as a hardware company but has recently started offering subscription services. Along with Apple Music, some of the other services Apple offers include Apple TV+, Apple Arcade and Apple Fitness+. However, there's a critical difference between Apple Music and the other services in Apple's repertoire. While the former is also available on Android smartphones and tablets, Arcade and Fitness+ are tailored for Apple devices only. As for Apple TV, it is available on a plethora of platforms, including Android TV, Fire TV, Roku, PlayStation, Xbox and more, in addition to Apple's own devices.
Since its introduction in 2015, Apple Music has grown to become the world's second-largest music-streaming platform after Spotify. While the service offers some great features, some have expressed unhappiness over Apple's decision to reduce the trial period on offer for new subscribers. Until earlier this year, Apple Music had been offering a generous three-month trial period to new subscribers worldwide. It was longer than what its competitors typically offered and allowed would-be customers to evaluate the service better. That, however, changed in Feb. 2022, when Apple Music's free trial period for new subscribers was reduced from three months to one.
Apple is offering first-time Apple Music Student Plan subscribers a free set of Beats Flex earphones. As part of the plan, subscribers eligible for the gift can order a pair of Beats Flex earphones for free after paying the first month's subscription. Users who cancel their subscription during the trial period will not be eligible for the free earphones. The offer is also unavailable for users who have previously subscribed to Apple Music in any form.

Apple says it will inform all new Student Plan subscribers of their eligibility via email within 30 days of the first monthly payment. Users will then have 90 days to follow the instructions received in the email to receive their free Beats Flex earphones worth $49.99. While users will be given the option to select the color, Apple might send them any random color if their chosen color is not in stock.
The free earphones offer is only available in the U.S. and the U.K and cannot be combined with other Apple Music offers. Apple also says that this is a limited-time offer but did not provide any details about when it may end. Either way, this is a cool offer for Apple Music Student Plan subscribers and one that is certainly worth taking advantage of.
