Just like Spotify has its Wrapped playlist, Apple Music offers Replay. But unlike its competitor, Apple Music Replay is available year-round for subscribers. Still, the curated playlist is the most nostalgic near the end of the year.

Apple Music was introduced in 2015 as a direct competitor to other music streaming platforms, Spotify and Pandora. But moving away from iTunes came with many benefits for users. For one, it allowed individuals to listen to any song they wanted at any given time, so long as it was on the platform. Previously, the users would have needed to purchase the individual tracks or import them from a cd. But streaming also brought other neat features, such as Apple Music Replay. For individuals unfamiliar with this feature, it is a playlist that lets users see their favorite songs from the past year on Apple Music. It is an excellent way for returning users to rediscover some of their old favorites and for their friends to discover new tunes.

To listen to all the songs played over the past year, start by opening the Apple Music app. Select the 'Listen Now' icon located at the bottom left. Scroll down to 'Replay: Your Top Songs by Year.' Then select the 2022 playlist. Now the user can find all their favorite songs and artists from the past year. Tap the '+' to add the playlist to the library, or hold and press the playlist to find the 'Share' button to send to friends via several social media outlets. To keep the playlist thriving, Apple updates the playlist weekly so that no song goes unnoticed. Additionally, users can find previous years' playlists too.

Apple Music Replay Listening Stats

For users interested in analytics, Apple Music can see stats such as how many artists the user listened to and the hours they listened to them. The stats show the top ten albums and their play counts. To find this information, go to replay.music.apple.com. Sign in. The Apple ID will be the same as the app's subscription. Once signed in, click the red button that says 'Get Your Replay Mix.'

Apple's support suggests if Apple Music Replay is unavailable for a user, it could be because they have not listened to enough music. Do not hesitate to put that subscription to use, especially since Apple has increased the rate. Given that Apple Music has over 100 million songs, it should not be hard for users to listen to enough tunes and compile their 2022 Replay playlists.
